This is the second set of cartridges they sent me after the others stopped working after an update from epson

Worked great until my printer updates itself. The printer gave me a message that "the cartridges were not recognized" even though I could feel they were 1/2 full still. I called customer service and they understood the issue immediately and sent me a new set. Something had to do with updated chips and within 3 days I was back up running at no additional cost. Very easy solution to a confusing situation!

This product is NOT compatible with Epson printers!!! It destroys the printer and makes it unusable! 100% DO NOT BUY!!!!

Is a cheaper replacement and worked with no issues.

the product was working great then Eson did an update and none of my inkcartridges that were remanufactured would work. Only Epson brand cartridges work. Same thing HP did, encode the chips in the ink cartridge so you cannot reset them or refill them and the printer will not accept after market ink cartridges. I hate these greedy corporations, HP got sued and lost, I need an attorney to do a class action lawsuit on them for this. This is like selling you a car and saying you can only use a specific Gas Brand in your car so they have a monopoly on you filling your gas tank. You must use this brand or it won't work. mBefore they did this software update, these cartridges worked great and print was perfect as well as photos

More ink per cartridge then epson. When epson blocks usage of non OEM ink cartridges with a firmware update, smart ink replaces the cartridges (free of charge) with new cartridges that will work with the new firmware.

Best customer service of any company I've encountered in years!Pro Tip: Be sure to use up your cartridges before you do a device firmware update as the update might render the old cartridges useless. HOWEVER, if you forget and your ink doesn't work, this company is SUPER easy to work with and has replaced my cartridges at no cost twice already. Please don't abuse their policies as it is rare to get a low-cost provider with good product AND great customer service!

Originally, three of the four cartridges installed correctly, the yellow would not. After many attempts the yellow was finally recognized, but the blue was leaking onto the cartridge itself. I needed to print and they were working so I used them since it was not leaking into the printer. Fast forward less than 20 pages printed and now NONE of the cartridges are recognized. They all have ink, but the yellow was not recognized again. The more I took it in and out the more the others stopped being recognized. Now I have blue fingers and a printer that has again been reduced to a very fancy paperweight. I have ordered a different set since they are not surprisingly no longer available leaving me with limited options to reclaim the money I have wasted.

Bought this to have as an extra, placed it in my printer and it’s didn’t recognize it. Had to trash it and buy directly from Epson. Don’t waste your money on this. Won’t be boutons refills again.
