Hello. I normally wear 12 size. I want to know if I buy a larger size or a smaller size? Thank you.

I bought a pair of black and a pair of brown in size 12. The brown fit perfectly; the black were too tight. I checked them to make sure they both had the same size markings and they did; however, the black were clearly smaller. I don't know if this is unique to the black or the brand in general. But that is what I observed.

Does it have a firm sole? I am worrying it will be too flexible and not give enough support if I do a lot of walking.

Not a sneaker for sure. It is more flexible since the sole is also made of nature organic fiber, probably jute. There is a thin rubber that covers the bottom to provide traction and keep the bottom from having moisture seep in. It is more flexible than the regular shoe, but I've walkef all day in these without any problem. Maybe for flat footed people this might be a proble.
