bought for filtering home infusions and it does the job well, the plastic filter is not the easiest to clean but the funnel works well and fits all but the smallest of my kilner bottles. Bought a cheesecloth as well and prefer it to the plastic filter

I use this set for filtering sloe gin as it is bottled. It works well and is easy to clean.

Good for Sloe Gin lovers and also good for decanting wine!

Warning sharp edges This is a well made item however being a pressed metal design the edges need to be smoothed otherwise they are very sharp. I cut my finger on this, so out came the good old dremmal and i rounded off the edges to make it safe...This maybe a one off be be careful when first using this item.

Does the job

This is a good product overall, but there are one or two things to keep in mind: the diameter of the stem is given as 15 mm but in reality is slightly over 16mm due to the invagination of the side of the stem to prevent airlocks. This makes it too big for the smallest Kilner bottles unless you modify it by deepening the invagination and bringing the actual diameter back to 15mm. Secondly, the 200 mesh was not fine enough to filter out the finest sediment of my apple juice. However, you can buy a set of finer mesh filters that fit this.

This stainless steel funnel overall was very good quality, the strainer worked really well in getting out any little pieces of hair or any dander that might’ve gotten into the milk pail. I was using this to strain out fresh goats milk, and it made very quick work and it was very clean and no spillage. It was a very good size. I was able to use it for my wide mouth cans and for my narrow mouth cans. It was really easy to store. I could sterilize it and put it right back into my milk pail while I’m not using it. It pretty much has a universal fit for whatever size jar that you’ll be using because of the cone affect. If you’re looking for a good strainer for any raw goat or cow milk, this is definitely a product you want to be using. It made it very convenient and very fast and it was extremely easy to sterilize once I was done with it. I would buy this again if I needed to in the future.

Uno dei miei migliori acquisti su Amazon. E' funzionale (ha una forma che permette all'aria di entrare per far scendere l'olio ma non viceversa), è di acciaio, il filtro è efficace ma allo stesso tempo non è lento, il fondo raccoglie perfettamente le impurità che "scappano", lo spazzolino semplice e carino. i 4 gancetti adesivi da parete poi un extra molto comodo (io li uso per le presine da cucina e per gli scolini). CONSIGLIATISSIMO
