Works so well for hotel rooms!! Used for 6 day trip. MUST USE TAP WATER. It will not work well with bottled water. We dumped out a bottle of "smart water" and re-filled with tap water, it worked perfectly!

So I guess some others reviews are correct. This is not a long lasting product.I took it on a trip and used it a total of probably 20 times and now it no longer works. I guess the little motor in it is just not meant for long use?I put it in water and it sputters a little, puffs out moisture a few times then just stops working.It did its job and I’m glad I had it for my trip, will try another brand next time.

I got two travel humidifiers to try out. One was rated for 40ml/hr. this one is advertised at 35ml/hr. However, this unit appears to actually put out while the other isn't putting out much.What works well this is unit is that the stick is not tapered and so will fit fully into the water bottle. The other unit would not fully insert into a normal water bottle opening. However, the water bottle I used is too tall and thin and so there is a lot of water left in the bottle that it can't get to.The stick is also slit along the sides and not just at the bottom. This allows the wick to get fully soaked which seems to improve its operation, even when the water level drops.There is no annoying light and it appears to shut off immediately when no water is detected.The output of 35ml/hr may only make sense if you place it nearby and/or it is a very small room. I think most non-portable humidifiers put out 10x that amount of water.

I had it in my car while I was working a delivery job. It was great, but stopped working after a few months, even after switching out the wick.

This little humidifier is just fantastic for travel! I’ve always thought that it would be nice to have a humidifier in the dry hotel rooms but was a hassle to try and bring something. I stumbled upon this and thought for the price it was worth a try. It works great, the 8 hour shutoff seems to work, and it goes through about 12-16oz of water in that time. Note that when you first use it it needs to soakIn the water for a few minutes before it will turn on and work.So happy with this and have recommended to several others!

My roommate had a portable humidifier, and I saw how nifty it was and wanted one myself. I decided to order this but 10 months after use, it broke - emitting a high pitched noise and not spraying any mist. I reached out to the seller and they confirmed it was a valid issue and they would issue a replacement. They sent over the order and tracking info but the replacement didn't arrive. I've never had delivery issues and have a Ring camera that never showed a delivery attempt being made. The seller told me that since it was shipped with Amazon Logistics, I'd have to work with Amazon directly regarding the delivery issue. I reached out to Amazon where they confirmed that the seller had provided false order and tracking number.

I use this right by my head, and it takes up much less room than my previous full size humidifier. It's very quiet, and makes no annoying whine. The only issue I've found in the three days I've used it, is if you are the like me and flail in your sleep or when the alarm goes off, it's easy to knock over in a narrow jar or bottle. So I am now using a wide, short former pickle jar, which is much more stable. It was hard to get started, as I thought it was rechargeable and it wouldn't turn on. So I plugged it in, and voila, it started right up. Soak the filter first. Replaceable filters are cheap and plentiful on Amazon and you can cut the replacement filters to the correct size if they are too long. I don't know how long it will last, I'm a bit worried about that considering the reviews on here.
