The perfect touch!
The media could not be loaded. Very easy to set up. Comes with different spray nozzles which is nice. Easily fits into any birdbath or DIY fountain bowl by cutting the clear tubing, keeps it from floating around. The suction is powerful when exposed to full sunlight. Be warned this will not work unless exposed to full sun. This item doesn’t have the ability to “recharge” like some other solar products because it doesn’t have a rechargeable battery. So in the shade and at night this does not work. For the price it’s what you pay for. I wasn’t expecting anything hi-tech. It does exactly as the instructions say. I’ll be curious how long this item works.

Still working!
Went through a whole summer in a lily pond. Every now and then would quit working. Just needed to clean the motor and it works great. Cleaned it out and dried. Put it away in storage for next spring!

Cool Concept But......
The media could not be loaded. I really like this solar powered bird bath fountain pump. It works really well in direct sunlight. Let's get to some pros and cons of this solar fountain pump. I will try to include a video and some pictures. Pros: (1)-Works great in constant direct sun. (2)-No batteries needed. (3)-Its gorgeous and the birds loves it. (4)-It comes with everything you need including 5 different water spray nozzle patterns & plastic straw like support beams to keep it centered in the middle of the bird bath which keeps it from moving around. Cons: (1)-The water splashes everywhere especially if it's windy outside. (2)-You will need to refill the bird bath bowl with water every few hours because the water dissipates from the bird bath really quickly. The reason? Refer back to con #1. (3)-It was a little pricey but I would buy this again if I had a large fountain or a pool in my backyard. (4)-These solar fountain pumps is ideal for a pool or a large fountain because the water will deplete every few hours in a very small bird bath like the one I have in my backyard. (5)-Must have direct sunlight for it to work. No sunlight 🌞 no working fountain. They are fun to watch, but just make sure you put it in a pool or a large bird bath or water fountain if you don't want to refill a small bird bath fountain bowl every few hours. Truthful & unbiased review.

Good for the money
Got this to put in a stock tank with goldfish. It stays afloat, and it isn’t bothered by the sludge (so far after three months of use). But it floats in and out of the sunlight, only working in the direct sunlight. Not surprising, as it is solar powered. Wish it was a little more stationary to stay in the sun. But it is cute, and it does its intended job. I would buy it again.

Works well until it doesn’t
I really liked this fountain and it was the perfect size for my small bird bath. Unfortunately, it stopped working after a few months.

Nice idea needs improvement
There's no way to control the spray leaving the birdbath to be filled every day. I like the idea of solar power instead of having wet items plugged in but unless it was in sun all day long the flow didn't last longer than a couple hours. It comes with several different spray adapters but they all seemed the same and none made a difference in the amount of over spray. It put out too much force that the birds stayed away until it was no longer working.
