Finding many uses for this mat. Wife keeps stealing it for gardening as it provides an nice adequate seat height. Seems tough enough and the many foldout options are nice. Only pet peeve is the length of the velcro strap it comes will as it could be shorter. Great product and review done at 6 months.

This mat is excellent for protecting my knees as I work under car dashboards all day. I’ve used several mats before, but this mat is the best by far

I bought this because I have an old truck that constantly needs attention. Just rebuilt the motor and got it running nice until last week when I heard a terrible sound coming from it. Towed it home and pulled the transmission. Not a terrible ordeal because I am familiar with the job, but damn, it kicked my ass from laying on the garage concrete and wrestling with heavy stuff in cramped places. I was sore for several days after and my wife was nagging me about laying a towel down or something when I was ready to reinstall it (don't they realize we're going to complain no matter what?), so after telling her she doesn't know what she's talking about and other various condescending remarks, I secretly started looking around for mats like this (just messing).What caught my eye with this Pro-Lift mat was the way it folds up. This feature is great! Seriously, you can fold it a once or twice and give your neck support when you are stuck in one position for a while tightening those hard to reach bolts or whatever. Hands down made this purchase worth it. I used to have a creeper for this kind of stuff, but I sold it when I had to transfer last year, but this is much more practical for my purposes because it folds up out of the way and you can use it for so much more. The only benefit the creeper had over this mat was the ability to roll around, but that isn't important to me.Anyways, this $22 mat was a luxury I should have gotten a long time ago. It wipes off easily and is just wide enough to support both shoulder blades without being too wide that it takes up too much space. The carrying handle cutout is pretty nicely done as well and doesn't feel like it will rip off or anything.When folded completely, it makes a nice seat that has room on both sides to set tools if you need to. Perfect for working on my motorcycles. I know this is a simple product, but it really is a good one. If you're still reading this, I apologize for droning on for so long about a garage mat, but it's the little things in life that can make a crappy job like pulling/installing a transmission a little less crappy (besides getting hammered drunk to the point where you don't care anyway). I'd recommend this thing for sure, not the getting hammered drunk part when working on important components on your vehicle.
