Clear real pictures
I bought these for my mom who is suffering from dementia. These cards are really good quality, very clear real pictures (vs. drawings or cartoon looking images) with the answer in nice large letters on the back.

Mostly Good But a Few Glitches
These are generally useful flashcards. My wife has mild dementia and I've used them with her a couple of times to help with word recall. But some of the photos are clearly ambiguous or hardly of everyday objects. How anyone is supposed to know the photo of a woman in a lab coat with a stethoscope is a doctor and not a nurse (or an NP or PA) beats me. And they've gone out of their way to make the photo of the nominal "dentist" look practically identical to the MD. There's not even a dental chair visible as a clue. The image of the Lincoln Memorial is from such an atypical angle you'd never know if was for Abe. He's not in the shot. And when was the last time you saw an actual recorder? Many people never have. And at least for my wife, who's pretty bright and has traveled a lot, the shot of what was labeled a "road" looked exactly like a shot of the California coast. In the effort to be artistic the image is simply ambiguous. Otherwise, this is a useful set of flashcards. Just don't blame your client or loved one for not recognizing the Lincoln Memorial without seeing Abe on his chair.

Very Nice Cards
I bought these cards for my mother who had dementia. She enjoyed spending time just looking through the wonderful pictures. I often sat with her and asked what the vegetables/fruits were. I recommend this product for those who have the beginning of dementia.

Great picture quality
Love the picture quality wtih bright and clear pictures. A lot of food items in the set that were not necessary for me. Each card has the word in the back which I prefer. The size of the pictures is perfect for multiple picture trials.

Not enough variety
Good quality of cards, but not enough variety. I had wanted this to teach kids about the different types of food categories. There were only three sources of protein and they included sausages, bacon and cheese. Where's the eggs, other meat sources, fish, or nuts? Way too many fruits and vegetables. When a kid sees a burger, they aren't going to automatically think meat because it has bread and vegetables with it too.
