Wow! Fantastic book.
This book is brimming with beauty and wisdom. You can immediately tell it was created by an artist, the quality is incredible. I have followed the author on social media for a long time and was thrilled when she published a book. It does not disappoint. The content is somehow deep and challenging, and yet, easy to engage with and uplifting. As a woman, I fully relate to the struggle to love your body that this book captures in such a thoughtful and insightful way. As a therapist, this book provides numerous ideas to engage clients in meaningful self-exploration and support them in their body acceptance work. Sometimes emotions get stuck, and we need more than words to work through them. This book provides dozens of art prompts to do exactly that, as well as thought provoking chapters, guidance, inspiration, and journal reflections. I can't recommend this book emphatically enough. If you have healing to do in your relationship with your body, or support others that do: buy this book!

One of the greatest books I regularly recommend in my therapy practice for homework!!
This book walks the line of self-therapy well. I recommend it regularly to my clients as a therapist working with people to overcome the negative body image/performance messaging they internalize from our media or discourse at home. As an Art Therapist I was hesitant as art therapy can be precarious on safety if not properly monitored, but the book is clear on supports. It is a wonderful resource to all professionals and individuals looking to do some work on body acceptance.

A deep dive into what it means to have a body
A comprehensive, thoughtful workbook that guides the reader through aspects of the body acceptance process. Complete with exercises to sustain the reader along the sometimes difficult journey. It skillfully includes beautiful examples that encourage art process rather than art for others to view, making this book accessible to those for whom art making has been challenging. Highly recommend!
