Used this needle for spraying furniture. Almost a factory finish compared to the 2mm tip.

Very good product. It created a bit of bubbles but it is not a bad tool at all.I have also invested into a finer needle 1.5 to do cabinets. The one that came with it is a 2.0 and a little thick for that.Latex is a bit hard to spray as it dries a bit too fast coming out of the nozzle so I diluted the paint quite a bit and also added floetrol which helped leveling the paint.

I have yet to find a use for the stock 2 mm needle that came with the spray gun. If you want to go through a quart of liquid in about a minute, and create maximum orange peel, keep using that needle, otherwise this is the item you need. I used about a 15% dilution ( Behr premium paint), and output was very nice. For stains & finishes, I may even consider the 1 mm. This is nicely machined, and found that it worked well even without the gasket. Overall, the best investment I made for this spray gun so far. A winner!
