My track pad and keyboard of MacBook air stopped responding owe given day. I was totally clueless and tried all upgrades of os/format /resets..but all were useless. I stumbled upon a article which talked about this wire getting damaged due to deposits etc. Boom I ordered it , replaced it my self using YouTube video and saved 20k as quoted by Apple care to replace full keyboard

I tried to adjust the cable to fit but really, it is not nice at all.ON the picture, there are 2 brand new cables from that supplier, the one under is the one I tried to adjust and above the same cable without modifications.

Solved issue with MacBook Air 2017 malfunctioned trackpad. Saved around 5k repair cost.

To late but product is bater

Bought this to replace a ribbon with bad contacts after a drinks spillage. It has fixed the problem, but I was surprised that it is not folded/sized the same way as the ribbon it replaces. That means that the cable does not line up with both ends and lie flat—the middle section is too long. I’ve attached a photo to illustrate. I was able to push it down and still get the battery cradle back on, so it works, but this is not optimal.

Didn't fix my problem but it worked as advertised.

Sollte bei eurem MacBook mal die Tastatur und/oder das Trackpad "spinnen", so kann der Austausch von diesem Kabel die Lösung sein. Mein Mackbook funktioniert seitdem wieder tadellos!
