Awesome case that feels good in your hand.

I bought this because it has good reviews and the lens cover was unlike anything I had seen thus far, and I buy tons of cases for my phone because I get bored of how they look, or I damage them at work, etc.This case has a not too hard, not too soft rubber feel to it. It is NOT slippery but not particularly comfortable and other than the sliding lens protector, the case has a cheap look to it. Because it is. No Spigen or UAG vibes here. This may sound stupid, but something always feels wrong to me about putting a really expensive phone in a cheap case. I don't know if the expensive cases protect any better, but I compare it to buying a motorcycle helmet, it's your brain in there...do you really want a cheap helmet? But that sliding lens protector though...want that. Bought it.Long story short, I dropped my phone SEVERAL TIMES since buying this case. Sometimes on the street, sometimes on the hard flooring in my house. Now, I will say that I think the shape of the case may have contributed to how often I dropped the phone. It feels a bit wide in the hand and it took me a while to get used to having to keep a tighter grip to compensate when walking with my phone. That being said, the case protected the phone from every drop. Not a scratch on the phone. I took a star off for sturdiness because the camera lens cover has popped off every time the phone has dropped, but it snaps back on easily and slides as good as new, still locks in place in the open or closed positions. The case never even got scarred or scratched during drops. The phone has NEVER fallen screen down, so I can't speak as to what would happen in that instance and I never put my phone down on a table with the screen down so I'm not sure how well the slightly raised edges protect the screen. The sides of the case are shallow to allow for the curved glass feature of the phone to be visible so just the top and bottom are raised. Slightly.Now, let me honestly say that I THREW MY PHONE IN ANGER DURING AN ARGUMENT AS HARD AS I COULD AT THE WALL. The corner of the phone put a hole in the drywall. The phone is in perfect condition. The case has a small deep scratch and some scarring, just on the one corner bumper that contacted the wall. I wiped off the drywall dust and put the phone back in my pocket. I'm impressed by the shock absorption in this case.At the end of the day, I'm going to buy a case with more protection for the screen and all around because clearly I'm the sort of phone dropping, anger throwing dufus that needs to keep his device in a bubble. I'll probably spend a hundred dollars on some sort of Otterbox monstrosity. But if you're NOT an idiot, then I'd say you'd do well to buy this case... And if you want mine you're welcome to it.

I prefer having a thin case on my phone and this one is definitely comfortable for me. After almost 3 years with this case, my phone screen has 1 small crack even though I've dropped it on tile a few times. It's a great case if you don't drop your phone too too much.It looks sleek, almost like you don't have a case on your phone and it's easy to put on. I love the sliding portion on the back for protecting the cameras. I'm happy that all 5 camera lenses are still fully intact. It has also protected the volume and lock buttons completely. The material is easy to clean with a q-tip.

Overall I'm happy.Positives:- The slide camera door is awesome. It locks in place both open and closed. Keeps the camera clean, dust free, and finger print clean as well as protects it.- The look is very nice- Small, doesn't add much bulk at all which i appreciate as I store in pocket- Covers the front screen by the four corners being enlarge past the screen (even with a screen protector).- the sides are tiered down for easier holding and finger performance.Negatives:- Must have a screen protector and a good one. Which is OK considering this case is fairly priced- Case shows finger prints and oils from hand.- Ridges aren't the most comfortable to hold- Although the corners are big enough to protect the screen from placing phone face down, I wish they were bigger to provide better protection to corners and face.Overall, I'm happy with it. I do have to clean it more often and I'm nervous about a potential drop, buti love love love the camera door.

There aren't a lot of choices for the S21U and the ones that are available didn't have many reviews yet, so I chose a few different cases in the <$20 range and this was the clear winner. The textured back is grippy and pleasant to hold and feels secure. The raised front edges at the top and bottom are protective without interfering with pulling down menus. It slides in and out of a pocket without catching. It's rigid enough to stay in place on the phone.The S21U has an amazing camera with multiple lenses and it's really nice to be able to protect them without interfering with the picture quality. The door slides easily and snaps into place. I move the door multiple times a day and it still works like it was brand new. I would expect this to be the part that wears our first and of/when it does, I will most likely buy this exact same case again. The camera protector also is raised across the entire width of the case, so it won't wobble like a case that just has a raised area around the camera.I have dropped my phone onto various surfaces multiple times with no noticeable damage to phone or case.I only wish the case had more color options!

UpdateSo my phone case lasted a little over 1 year abd a half. Maybe becouse i put my phone in my back pocket. So now the sides are pealing off and the phone case iscseporating and coming apart. It has protected my phone from a few drops but wish it could have lasted longerNice cover so I got one for my wife's phone too
