In the last couple of years, no matter what hair color I buy in a box at the store, it didn't cover all the gray. I would have gray hair around my temples. In the last year, I noticed that no color would really cover the gray hairs in my roots. After 3 shampoos, the gray hair was back and my color was faded as if it had been over a month since coloring. I was very down. I started looking for something better and found this product. It covered all my gray hairs and after a week, it's still the beautiful brown color I love. I will be purchasing this from now on. I would definitely recommend it if you have resistant gray hairs and/or your color isn't lasting. This made me feel pretty instead of feeling like an old lady with faded hair with gray shining through.

Have used for years to cover my grey hair

Beautiful gray coverage, but lighter than a standard 5.0 in my experience. Although it's more of what I'd consider a true light brown, whereas most that say light brown, end up dark. Do a test strip if you're in doubt, I have to redye my roots in order to get the dark brown I'm used to.
