Q: will this fit mazda 2 2016

I don't really know. I bought it for a 2018 Jag XF sports-brake and it is a little big I would have been better with the smaller size - but it's OK.

Hi, I’m not very good with cars. I have a x1 BMW. Fits perfectly. Just googled Ford mondeo 2008- yes. You also have the option to adjust the height from the straps. Hope that helps.

Q: can you still use the parcel shelf?

Yes, the organiser straps to the rear headrest bars. If you loop round both bars on the headrest the organiser sits higher up on the back of the rear seat, but is secured better. Depending what's in the top row pockets they can be awkward to access as my shelf when lifted does obstruct access a little. Loop round one bar per headrest, it can sit a bit lower, better access but less secure. Longer straps would solve this.
