Having experienced some disappointment using the Philips Hue bulbs and finding the constraints of not using a hub, I went back to Enshine. The setup is very straightforward and the Smart Life app is very pleasant to use with dimming the bulb or with automating it to turn on with or at a set interval around sunset along with setting it to turn off automatically at a certain time at night in case you forget to turn it off.Integrating the bulb with Google Home works almost seamlessly. When naming my bulbs in the Smart Life app, Home recognises each bulb and turns them all off or on or does so individually based on voice commands.Additionally, if you use Samsung's SmartThings, you can connect Smart Life so you can then control the bulb through that platform too. In a noisy room where Google Home's voice recognition can be impeded, you can configure a Smart Tag to turn on and off the bulb or brighten/dim it gradually.You can use warm and cool white outputs and choose a big range in between. If I had to name a specific disadvantage against Philips Hue, it's Enshine's colour brightness. Hue's colour brightness is practical for use for the whole room while Enshine's RGB brightness is so dim that it is just a cute novelty.I'm very happy with a much lower cost alternative to Hue, especially with the strong white light output, the ease of set up and the brilliant integration with Google Home. If you have a specific requirement to use the bulbs in RGB colours, these might not be the best option because of the low colour brightness not offering much flexibility.UPDATE: About 11 months after purchase, this bulb has become faulty. Within 5-20 minutes of powering it on, it the bulb loses connectivity and shows as offline in the Smart Life app and it can't be accessed through SmartThings or Google Home. Since it is offline, the schedule to turn the bulb on or off at a given time no longer functions either so it becomes little more than an expensive LED bulb until you turn the light switch off and back on the old-fashioned way, after which it will become online and rejoin your network before repeating the process after 5-20 minutes.I got in touch with the support team and their response was excellent. I followed the troubleshooting tips they gave and when it was confirmed that resetting the bulb didn't resolve the problem, they sent a replacement quickly.

This bulb was easy to set up and connect to the app. It is really quite bright. However in the app you can alter the temperature of the light to make it easier on the eye. With the app you can switch the bulb on and off remotely - you can also set it to come on and switch off at specified times, very handy if you are away from home. You can also change the colour of the light on the app. Nice.Recomended.

Installed this in our hallway and most of the time it works great. It connected first time and has been stable since with no drops off the network. The only issue I have is when it has been turned off at the switch and you turn it back on sometimes it can take a few seconds to turn on (I assume it connects to the WiFi first, then restores its last setting). It doesnt sound like much but the first time it did it I thought it wasnt working, so turned it off again. Then turned it on... still nothing. Eventually I ended up resetting the light and had to reconnect it. We are getting used to it now but it just seems a bit strange to me, we have a number of similar lights to this and this is the only one that has a delay. Other than that its bright on the white settings and the colour settings look pretty good.

This is a great lightbulb. I bought one for the bedroom, was so pleased with it so got 3 more for other rooms. Was easy to set up and works great. Love the colours too and the range of brightness to dim. Would recommend!

I bought so much of these and they are very useful, they are comparable with alexa, home assistant, Google. I had to buy a mini zigbee button to have a manual button for turning them off and on, to make it easier for guests and for occasional moments.It has a nice fading animation when you turn it off and on and it responds fast to alexa. WIDE RANGE of white shades, so you can have clear white or a yellow shade which is very good to suit different atmospheres.It is very bright, that even I have to lower brightness in different rooms, which is a nice feature to have. The app smart life works flawlessly,It does have rgb as well but it seems pretty dim and more of a gimic, but I wouldn't use that feature anyways.

Got the bulb and had it setup within a few minutes ( I saw a few reviews say it was difficult, I found it a relatively painless process)The bulb was nice and bright, the colours were dim, but they seem to be on all smart bulbs.I went to turn it on using my Alexa on the second day and noticed that it wasn't connected anymore, I turned it off and on at the light switch to see if that would reconnect it, and when I turned it on, the bulb was dead, it wont turn on at all, but other bulbs I've tested do still work in the socket.I did also notice it weighs less than a regular 11w LED bulb, and 9w smart bulb that I have.So that lack of quality probably explains it lasting only a single full day. I would definitely avoid buying it.
