Not quite as expected.
Power lead is too short to be useful (has to be plugged in very close to the shower). The pump does NOT switch on automatically, but you have to press the left button and hold for 5-10 seconds. Sticky pads that come with it do not stay stuck for long so screwing into the wall is a must. However, it has improved my shower pressure enormously. Oh, yes, and the instructions are in Chinese.
