I would like to know is this a spray bottle

No. It has a screw top with a plastic wand attached.

Has anyone used this to old homemade essential oil perfumes? Some other similar products "melt" in contact.

The top unscrews and has a glass dipstick to apply fragrance to your skin. Everything is made of glass so I don’t see anyway there would be melting involved.

How much perfume does it hold?

very little there is just a small tube inside the glass bottom to hold perfume. I=it's very pretty though
