Hang It Dang It Quilt Hanger 35" to 63"

The Hang it Dang It is a very clever device that allows you to hang your quilt very easily. Our quilt was 48” square, so it took two of us to put it up - I think I could have done it myself, but having two people made it easier. I think I might prefer the look of full wooden bracket, where the bracket itself is part of the display - I think that would have a more finished look, but for simplicity - it doesn’t get any better than this!

I bought another quilt hanger because they are easy to hang. I thought there was a problem with the construction of my first quilt because it did not hang straight on the hanger. But when I hung my new quilt on my new Hang It, I found the same problem. It sagged even though when I earlier used a rod to hang this quilt, it hung flat. I believe the problem is that the center holder grabs the material in the center tightly, but it leaves too much fabric in the sleeve on the ends of the larger quilts. For smaller quilts, the smaller size works. For the larger sized quilts, maybe two more grips, one for each end would solve the problem.

The special quilt I wanted to hang was almost too think for the clip that hangs the bar. Between the quilt/batting/backing plus the sleeve, it was a very hard fit to get the clip over all the material. As a result the quilt hangs a tad higher in the middle causing it to bow and curve as it drapes down. It looks OK, but not as nice as I'd hoped.FYI - The black hook on the end of the pole in the pic is part of the packaging, not the actual pole, the pole does not have the black hooks on the ends.

I was looking for a way hang my quilts for display without having a big rod permanently attached to my wall. This rod is perfect. Hangs up with one nail! The rod doesn’t show so it doesn’t distract from the quilt. It’s adjustable for different widths & hangs level. I highly recommend.

I have purchased several Hang It Dang It quilt hangers in various sizes, and I really love them. You do have to be careful to balance the weight of your quilt in order for this to work as it should, but once you realize that the exact middle of a quilt may NOT have weight evenly distributed (a little more batting or binding on one side than the other?), you'll be fine. I highly recommend this product.

This is the BEST product. So simple and easy. I highly recommend it.I would like to also see one for a heavier quilt. Also I feel it is a little high in price.

Hang It Dang It is so easy to use that even I had no trouble! My quilt was ready to be displayed in minutes. Definitely recommend this product.

Seems fairly easy to use, however, in order to prevent the nail or hook from showing, you really need to attach the top edge of your sleeve about 1.5" below the edge of the quilt.
