How do you take the slider off to clean underneath?

Squeeze the two prongs of the black slider together (gently) and push up. Repeat to replace the slider.

Does the slider lid come off for better cleaning? If yes, how?

Yes it comes off. There are two small tabs on the underside that you press against and it will pop out. After cleaning you just snap it back into the slide slots in the top of the lid.

What is the diameter of the straw hole? Important to get a straw that will fit in the hole... Please give me an inch or mm measurement.

Well I’m not sure the measurement but a QT straw fits as well as a large diameter drink straw that I would use for milk shakes or margs and also my daughter’s silicone straw fits tightly but you can force it in there and it just barely puts an indent in it. I hope this helps.
