I recently went vegan and am still grieving over all the things I love to eat that I can’t have now. So I’m always on the lookout for great vegan dishes. I got this plum sauce to have with mu shu vegetables. Here’s why I love it: it’s a little tart — not too sweet — and there’s no dye in it. I tried it for the first time today — it made my mu shu vegetables FABULOUS — and immediately ordered four more bottles. This plum sauce is delicious.

I love plum sauce it’s sweet and sour taste goes so good with egg rolls, chicken and even on steamed rice.

This is a thin watery liquid "sauce".......not a sauce at all and nothing like what is served as plum sauce. And of course they won't accept a return so out $15.

I love plume sauce. However, only one of the two bottles had even half the flavor that I obtain when ordering plume sauce in a restaurant (e.g., for Mushi pork). The other had a weak flavor. Since it was Thanksgiving, I tried the plume sauce on Turkey thighs. As I noted, the flavor varied one bottle from the other, but the one good one was delicious on Turkey thighs. It is a roll of the dice with this product. Too bad it is not more consistent. I will not be ordering this one again.

I was a little surprised with how difficult it is to find a good plum sauce. The majority of the ones I've found have very little actual plums in them, some are basically a slightly sweeter than normal ketchup with a smidge of plum juice. But not this one, its made mostly from plums and has a great plum flavor, just the right level of sweetness. I use it mainly for dipping lumpia, but its great for anything you'd use a plum sauce for.
