Aloderma 99% Organic Aloe Vera Gel uses organic aloe juice for an effective "live" product that does not sting eyes, is non-sticky, and refreshing. Using Aloderma 99% Organic Aloe Vera Gel mixed with a bit of shea butter and petroleum jelly, with a light water mist spray in my Microdermabrasion After Care routine was effective and refreshing. Aloderma 99% Organic Aloe Vera Gel is glycerin free. Aloderma 99% Organic Aloe Vera Gel holds water on skin without glycerin. It would be sooo nice if Aloderma made a soothing Aloe Vera Microdermabrasion After Care line :) Aloderma now has a new Aloe Botanical Hydrating Mist Facial Spray :) It's a "Soothing, Moisturizing, Lightweight Facial Spray with Panthenol(Provitamin B5)". Aloderma Aloe Botanical Hydrating Mist Facial Spray might be perfect to be part of a Microdermabrasion After Care routine. Overview Panthenol(Provitamin B5): Panthenol(Provitamin B5) is a humectant and emollient that deeply hydrates, soothes irritation, and repairs skin and hair barriers by converting to Vitamin B5. It strengthens the skin's protective layer, reduces water loss, promotes wound healing, and improves hair strength and shine, making it a staple in moisturizers, serums, shampoos, and conditioners. Overview Aloderma: "Aloderma has gained popularity primarily due to its farm-to-face, vertically integrated production model, which ensures high potency by processing organic aloe vera within 12 hours of harvest. By using fresh, organic aloe juice rather than freeze-dried powders or concentrates, the brand delivers a more effective and "living" product that ensures maximum potency of nutritional value and healing properties of bioactives for superior soothing, hydration, and repairing skin. -Aloderma unmatched Freshness (12-Hour Rule): Aloderma operates its own organic farms and factories, allowing them to harvest, process, and bottle their aloe vera products within 12 hours. This rapid timeline is designed to capture the maximum potency of the plant’s active bioactive compounds (polysaccharides, enzymes). -Organic & Pure: Products are certified organic by ECOCERT, utilizing ingredients that are non-GMO, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. -Clean Formulation: Aloderma's products, such as their Pure Aloe Vera Gel, are generally free from alcohol, parabens, sulfates, and artificial fragrances. -Effective & Gentle: Known for soothing irritation, acne, sunburns, and providing deep, non-sticky hydration suitable for all skin types. -Affordability: Offers premium, organic, and, frequently, highly accessible, natural skincare solutions at a reasonable price point. -Sustainability & Transparency: They own their farms and factories, ensuring complete control over the quality and sustainability of their products. -Aloderma high Organic Content & Purity: Their products often feature 96% to 99% organic aloe barbadensis leaf juice as the primary ingredient. They are free of fillers like added water, parabens, mineral oil, and artificial alcohol. -Aloderma "Farm-to-Face" Sustainability: Being a family-run, vertically integrated company, they have full control over the quality from cultivation to packaging, which appeals to consumers looking for sustainable and transparent beauty brands. -Versatile Skincare Benefits: Aloderma products are highly effective at: >Intense Hydration: Aloderma delivers deep moisture without leaving a greasy, sticky residue. >Soothing & Calming: Aloderma is ideal for sunburns, razor burn, and sensitive, irritated skin. >Anti-Aging & Anti-Acne: Aloderma products contain natural ingredients that stimulate collagen, reduce the appearance of blemishes, and provide antioxidants. -Affordability: Despite the high-quality organic, fresh-pressed formulation, Aloderma products are generally considered affordable and accessible. -Suitability for Sensitive Skin: Because Aloderma products are natural and free from harsh chemicals, they are frequently recommended for sensitive, eczema-prone, or reactive skin types. In summary, Aloderma's popularity is driven by its commitment to using fresh, organic ingredients processed immediately to maintain potency, all offered at a competitive price point." It made sense why my skin burned when I used glycerin after a microdermabrasion, because glycerin pulls moisture from the innermost layers of skin, creating an illusion that it is moisturizing when it is actually drying it out from the innermost layers of skin. Instead, after a microdermabrasion, I use Aloderma 99% Organic Aloe Vera Gel for Face. Overview for Glycerin: "Glycerin can dry out skin, but only under specific conditions: when used in high concentrations (above 20-30%) or in very dry, low-humidity environments, as it pulls moisture from deeper skin layers or the air; but in typical skincare products, it's a great humectant that draws moisture to the skin when paired with occlusives or in humid conditions, preventing dryness when used correctly. When Glycerin Can Cause Dryness -Low Humidity: In arid climates, glycerin pulls water from the deeper dermis (skin) to the surface, dehydrating the skin if there isn't enough moisture in the air or a sealant on top. -High Concentrations: Pure or highly concentrated glycerin (over 30%) can be irritating and drying; it's meant to be diluted in products. How to Use Glycerin for Hydration -Look for Formulated Products: Choose moisturizers where glycerin is an ingredient, not the primary one, combined with emollients and occlusives (like oils or butters) to lock in moisture. -Apply to Damp Skin: Use glycerin products after showering or applying a hydrating toner when skin is still damp to help it attract water from the environment. -Seal it In: Always layer a cream or ointment over glycerin-based products to prevent water from evaporating away. In Summary Glycerin is generally beneficial and safe, acting as a moisture magnet. The key is using it in well-formulated products and ensuring you're in a humid enough environment or sealing it with other ingredients to prevent it from pulling moisture out of your skin." Once again, for me: Instead of using glycerin and glycerin based products, after a microdermabrasion(which can be quite drying for skin), using Aloderma 99% Organic Aloe Vera Gel mixed with a bit of shea butter and petroleum jelly, with a light water mist spray in my Microdermabrasion After Care routine was effective and refreshing. Will buy this again! :)

Absolutely love this for my face. It is great for my skin. Not oily, calms and cools skin, reducing potential skin bump or redness almost immediately. Great for my combination skin. I use this after cleansing and before any moisturizer.

This aloe vera gel was nothing short of amazing as it's good quality and pretty effective as you can feel the organic differance. It helped to alleviate some doggy bites I had earlier on my arms and serves as a soothing balm. It's also a great moisturizer and not sticky on your skin. It'll last you quite a while as well depending on your needs.

I love this aloe vera gel, it is great for my daily skin care routine. It is light and dries nicely. My skin reacts to other Aloe Vera products but not this one thankfully!
