One bucket had a crack in the bottom, which leaked bad. The other one worked fine. Seller sent a replacement right away. Great product and great seller!

I'm not at all pleased with these buckets. The threads around the spigot area leak. I had to wrap the threads with telflon tape and one still leaks. I was fermenting food ant lost a whole batch for this reason. They are very large 7 gallon and can be heavy. I put mine on a plant stand that has wheels on it, worked great.I would have returned them but I now have food in one and have no place to store the contents. I wouldn't purchase them again.

These fermenter are perfect for our yearly wine and cider needs.

I received two of these 4 years ago and started using them right away.i realize that they may have changed some things since then, but that is not my problem.My two problems with this product involve the spigot.Problem 1: The spigots on both leaked. they dripped out of the little hole in the side. Not a lot, just enough to attract attention.Problem 2:sometimes the spigots popped their threads, allowing leaks around the threads in the bucket.It turns out after much investigation, that the bucket has a 3/4 inch npt thread, while the spigot is close, but not that.I bought some other readily available spigots (with the red handles) and they fit perfectly.the 3/4 pvc npt plug from lowes fits the bucket perfectly. the nut from the spigot that came with this is too small to fit on that plug.my conclusion: your spigots are a close but different size from the threaded hole in the bucket.pretty good value for the price, you just need to get a spigot that fits.perhaps they have fixed this mistake, i don't know

First their customer service is awesome. Lets talk buckets. Awesome airlocks. Awesome seals. But just like everyone else, the spiggots/spickets (however its spelt) drain too slow for my patience and the threading is not the greatest....should thread all the way through the bucket with washer and nut on inside. This will leave a a lil stuff on the bottom, but would fix the spig/spick problem every1s referring too. Just a thought.STILL WORTH THE $$$$

These are perfect! And so inexpensive in comparison. I highly recommend these barrels!!

the spickets strip out when you get them tight enough to not leak. OR they end up upside down when tight, making it impossible to drain the bucket...ADDITIONALLY: the last two that were sent (as replacements), the lids would not FIT on tight, I have to TAPE them down with packing tape.SO VERY unsatisfied with this company.... I've had FOUR (4) items shipped, only ONE (1) was operational....
