IWISS Solar Connector Crimping Tools for AWG14-10 2.5/4/6mm2 Solar Panel PV Cable

Good crimps are essential to a a quality and reliable installation. Had good experience with crimper, seemed to make high quality crimps.

Excellent Product. very compact.

I used this to make new MC4 connections onto 10 AWG PV wire. It worked very well. After watching a youtube video, even my first crimp came out perfectly. I had expected the first one to be a flop or something.These crimpers seem well-made, for the price. Like lots of these things that are this cheap, sometimes you get what you pay for but so far, so good.Having never used an MC4 crimper before, I have nothing to compare it to. But it takes some extra concentration to get the metal MC4 connector in the crimp tool, squeeze the tool handles very slightly to hold the connector in place, then place the stripped PV wire into the connector and hold it there then squeeze the handles good and hard to make the crimp. There surely must be a better design of crimp tool out there that would turn making MC4 cables into a much quicker and easier job, but probably costs 3-5x this one. The "official" MC4 crimp tool from Staubil costs over $300!!These were a good deal and have already paid for themselves vs having bought pre-made cables AND I was able to make my cables exactly the length I wanted, which made for tidier cable management.

Very comfortable to use.However we expected some Tool kit with it to keep it safe when not in use.

Great crimper for the price. The crimping of the terminal was perfect.
