I’ve had these for months now. I use them in glazing pottery. These brushes hold up nice and are easy to clean. Use them several times a week and they are still in as good condition as when they arrived.

Very soft bristles, perfect for getting the wispy effect on edges in painting.

I snapped one of them in half to have a smaller size for washes. That worked good, they are still holding together even after breaking them apart. I would not allow them to sit on water since it is real bamboo that is holding them together.

So much fun!

Love using these for large watercolor pieces that require a wash

I use these as a dust/crumb sweepers for my art. They work very well and are a great product. I only take away one star because I’ve bought 2 sets and in both sets at least one of the brushes had split bamboo which ended up getting splinters in my hand, so I ended up throwing those out.

The media could not be loaded.  Considering the price, number of brushes and size variations- 3.5 starsThese are she brushes so I had that in mind when I was scoring it. However oh I know that just because somethings less expensive doesn’t mean it can’t be great quality these are not great quality they match the description sizes are correct the brushes are soft however they are cheaply made and if you watch my video, Hi check a little tug to see if it’s gonna shed a lot and a whole clump of the brush bristles just popped out. They fit right back in very easily and I’m going to be able to put some super glue to keep them in. Other than that- shedding was as I imagined- not too shabby.BUT if you are thinking about buying these brushes for their great quality and long lasting value then I would continue my search. HOWEVER- if you are looking for some extra variety in your brushes and are OK with them lasting a couple projects then I would be fine with these.

When I bought these I thought they were perfect for what I needed, a hake brush to prime my kiln.... but all of the brushes were too big to get into the bottle of kiln wash! so I broke one in half. YThey are held together with dowels and it is quite easy to do, and still have a solid brush.Yes, they are very soft, and adaptable, and a very good price for the quality.

I use these for watercolour washes and loose painting. I snapped one into two smaller brushes for finer work. They hold a lot of water and don’t shed hairs.

Very soft, large hake brushes. Constructed well. Using for pottery/clay. Would buy again.
