Easy to install. Work perfectly.
These have been awesome so far! They have def served their purpose on keeping my 15 month old out of my utensil drawers and from underneath the sink where our bathroom cleaning supplies are. I installed all of these myself without my husbands help. With his power tool. All you need really is a pencil to help trace where you want the catcher at etc so you can pre drill the holes with screws. We haven't had any of these break on us. No matter how forcefully we yank open our drawers. Same with our son. Their def worth the money to keep the drawer closed. Except my son can still reach his hand into my dish towel drawer and pull out some dish towels. But he's pretty much given up on doing so. Since the fun of pulling open the drawer completely doesn't work anymore with the safety catch. Plus it's nice these come with 12. So you have extra left over in case. Love them. Highly recommend.

Not that hard to install if you are handy.
I bought a similar product at my local hardware, and it just didn't work (latch wouldn't catch). No problems whatsoever if you are handy with a drill. There are certainly other styles that might work for same application but that choice is up to you. These have worked for us I don't know why people are saying that this is hard to install. If you can drill four holes and line up things, you can install. Maybe if you think peeling a piece of adhesive is the extent of your ability, then this is beyond your talents. The key is to install the piece that attaches to the cabinet first, then you line up the other part, pencil in your drill holes. Drill the holes. Screw in two screws and you are done.

Does the job!
Works like a charm! It's a little hard to train yourself to push the latch down before opening each drawer, but we've got it down now. If you have a house where you're constantly opening and closing the cupboards, and in your kitchen a lot, you might look into the magnetic ones that you can "Lock & unlock" when you have a lot of kitchen use. We just put these on a couple "key" cupboards that have some cleaning supply's and potential dangerous junk drawer type of things in them. But they hold up! I've full on pulled on them by accident dozens of times, (forgetting they were there) and they don't budge. It takes about 30-60 seconds to install each cupboard, so it's also a pretty quick fix.

Can Take A Beating
This is my second time purchasing these latches. I have a very physically enthusiastic toddler. We installed these latches on the bottom cabinet doors. Obviously it’s not a fun endeavor to have to drill anything, but my SO made short work of it. My toddler loves to yank the cabinets open as far as he can and bang them shut, so these can take quite a beating. Only one has failed, it’s the one on the roll-out garbage can drawer, and that’s because the can shifted around and got in the way of a proper closure, the drawer was forced shut and the latch broke. Now the baby can reach the drawers, so we’ve purchased another set to fully equip the kitchen before my kid dumps a drawer of knives on his head.

Works as designed; practically useless--practice improves
No toddler can hack this device, that is for sure. Yes, it safe. However, I am giving it 1 star because this product is annoyingly impractical, as they break easily. Now, my family blames me for being too strong. (Well, I like hearing it.) The manufacturer should have been aware of that: when a draw full of metal silverware is moving, the force created by the momentum is much larger than what can be created by a slight movement of wrist. Actually, my drawers are pretty empty, Even so, I am breaking them like one piece every two days. It is not a big deal in terms of money, especially when we think that we can use them in places where we only occasionally open; well, it is about time. After it is broken, I have to find my screw driver and take a couple minutes unscrewing the old one and installing a new one. It sounds easy on paper and anybody can do it without mistakes. Nonetheless, personally I find it very annoying. There were used to be safety latches at my home, my impression is that they broke after years. So, I didn't pay attention on reviews of this product that had pointed out the plastic was too fragile. I didn't realize that they are so fragile. I will not buy this product again. Edited: uprise to 3 stars, because I don't break them anymore, I have changed my behavior style. //And, we moved our knives to a different place, that saved us a few latches.

great item
This is a great item. Just dont let your child see you opening the drawer because they will be able to figure it out. However if you are sneaky about it and make it look natural, you will have months maybe years of not picking up after them. My 1 year old loses attention of whats in the drawer when he sees that he cannot open it fully. He has learned to get one or two items out through the little opening but that is way better than 10+ items out of the drawer. The screws are not too hard to install and as long as you line up your latch properly, you will have no troubles. I have seen him pull the drawer a few times to no avail and to no breakage from the latches. It should last a few years, I hope.

cheap plastic breaks easily
We are a family of seven, and our kitchen sustains a lot of wear and tear because of that. But I expected the locks to stand up to us. They did not. Three of the locks broke within 24 hours of installing them. And since they were a pain in the ass to install in the first place, that makes it suck even more. Over the next week or two, the locks continued to break, one by one. we now have a couple working locks left, and one still hanging on by a desperate thread. The locks work, but the cheap, flimsy plastic snaps easily, causing the main piece of the lock(the piece that you'd push down to open the drawer or cabinet) to fly off when you close it if it isn't perfectly lined up. In my opinion, not worth it at all.

el producto es de Buena calidad, sin embargo es un poco complicado instalarlo al inicio, recomiendo revisar el tipo de Puerta o cajon donde se desea instalar primero antes de comprarlo ya que no es compatible con todo tipo de mueble

They are what they are and they stop my toddler opening draws and cupboard doors that could otherwise topple over onto him.
