Buy these-They work! These are fantastic!! I wish I had purchased these sooner- they're exactly what I needed! I have long natural dreadlocks that go down past my bum, however I've never been able to make a suitable bun. I've tried rubberbands-or just my hair, and they've always come out wobbly, or just never stay and come unraveled. With these sticks I get the PERFECT bun, and it will NOT budge. I can keep it up in a beautiful bun all day, and it isn't painful. I never bought these before because, I don't know, I figured they wouldn't work. But boy was I wrong! So glad I bought these. And it actually even works with just one stick- and the bun is still secure. However, I use both just to get the extra stability. And if I want to take one out to adjust it, I don't have to re-do the bun because the other stick is in place. Fully stoked that I got these sticks, and have used them quite a bit since I got them. They're super easy to use. And if they're strong enough for my super long dreads, I'm sure they'll work great for anyone's hair, no matter the texture. You'll even probably only need to use one and just save the other as a back-up. Definitely get these. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this product about a year ago, and wanted to use it for a while before submitting review. I have to say, it does not disappoint at all. In fact, after a year of using the stick almost daily, I am still using the first stick I grabbed last year. The second stick is still sitting brand-new in the bag. First of all, I have Asian hair - very thick and straight with length to about mid back (I'm 5'1"). when my hair is gathered/twisted into a bun, the bun is very heavy as well as thick and dense. I have tried a few other sticks I picked up at festivals & craft fairs, but all of those were unable to handle my hair. The majority of them were not sturdy enough and snapped; the very few that survived were bent after one use. Then by chance, I stumbled on to this set. The stick is very sturdy. The wavy handle design makes it easy and comfortable to hold. The point is not too sharp so to scrap & hurt my scalp, but not so dull that it won't poke through my thick and dense hair bun. The finish on stick is smooth and gives it a classy look. The length of stick is perfect - not too short so it is buried with the bun, but it's not so long that it looks like you have a silly stick through your head. Overall, I'm very impressed with the overall quality of this product, and I'm very happy with this purchase.

These are my daily, use all the time, sticks. Nothing to catch your hair on, goes in smoothly, and the wiggle is just enough to hold the hair in place for days. I mean DAYS. I fall asleep with these in sometimes, just one of them. And its barely loose the next morning. I love these so much I bought more pairs in case I lose them. Which I do, I find them in my office, in the bedroom, bathroom, and under the bed when the cats knock them off the dresser. I keep extras in a mini vase on a shelf.

Cute and work well, not in love with the holes at the end but not a dealbreaker for me. Buy if you like the look, and perfect for curly/textured hair, with strict it just takes a bit more practice. Seem to be of good quality and they aren’t plastic but not too heavy for hair. Good value for money, would buy again.

I have hair all the way down to my butt so wearing my hair up with clips and hair ties gives me really bad tension headaches just cause of the pulling and sheer weight of my hair. I’ve heard that hair sticks could be a solution to this and are generally better for your hair since there’s no pulling, and that was absolutely correct. I haven’t had these for long, but I’ve been able to wear them for hours with no headache. They stay put really well and don’t fall out easily. They’re also the perfect length to not poke you. The sticks themselves feel about as thick and sturdy as a pencil, so pretty hard to break unless you’re intentionally trying to break it. They fit in my purse way better than hair clips and easier to find/keep up with than hair ties. Overall I’m super happy with these and I would highly recommend them. Side note: There are these pinholes at the top of both sticks that I have no clue what they’re there for. It doesn’t affect the performance by any means I just don’t know what they’re intended for lol. Still a great product.

I get headaches really easy and I guess my head is sensitive as well. Putting my hair in a ponytail or clip it’s just too much weight and pressure for my head. I read that using a hair stick can help with not braking your hair like a hair band can and that it’s fairly easy once you get used to it. They came in excellent condition. I love the feel of them they are smooth and the wood natural coloring is great. I have long hair, so not being able to use hair clips to put up my hair stinks. I watched some videos of different ways to use the hair sticks. I can get all my hair put up it doesn’t loosen or feel heavy at ALL. So I can actually put my hair up. It looks stylish and I love it. The length is perfect for my long hair.

Just like the other pair of these I bought and reviewed... These were gorgeous! Unlike other sticks I've tried (and broken) these have no issue supporting and holding all of my hair. Pretty, durable, and worth it.

These wooden hair sticks are amazing, I've tried a few variations and these are by far my favourite, the bends in the stick and how it comes to a sharp-ish point helps with keeping your hair tighter for longer. The plastic ones would bed and they were very blunt so it would be hard to get them in and the metal ones I tried were too short & too thin. I have medium length hair that is on the thicker side so these are perfect. Definitely recommend!!
