Our class pet, named Coco, is a Peruvian long hair Guinea pig. We wanted to read this to see if the character was as brave and funny as our Coco. He was.

A little anxiety inducing (the piggy almost gets eaten twice!) and is generally just not a good bookfor younger children like i had hoped.

Beautiful and evocative illustrations for an adorable story! Great children's book about adventure, challenges, and our protagonist's journey back home.

Gifted this book to a close friend as part of a Christmas present for her daughter. It's become a beloved book at nighttime; the story line and illustrations are fun and captivating for children!!!

This book is absolutely charming and the watercolor illustrations are beautiful! The simple, repetitive storyline encourages children to read along or read independently. As a kindergarten teacher, I see the delight on the children's faces everytime it's read-- and it's read repeatedly, by request! 😄
