I started using a chainsaw at 14. He was a motorcycle mechanic and used old motor oil for the chain. Like father like son, I kept some of my synthetic old old after oil changes. Well I had a bar lock up on me. I ordered another bar, close to locking up another. I questioned the quality, after much thought it hit me. The oil I was using was too thin to lube the bar. My mistake. Started using a heavy weight oil, the problems disappeared. Great saw bar, just use a heavy oil.

The other chain broke and this is exactly what was needed.
