I decided to spend a little more for this USA made brand. And it was definitely the right decision! We have not had to replace any of the tubing we've purchased thus far. In fact, after a smaller test purchase, we went back and bought a longer roll. I gave it to the wife and kid to protect our cords thin to thick and short to long. They love it. This stuff works great. Definitely worth spending a little extra to get something made in the USA that doesn't fail us, and free of toxins. Other brands I looked at seemed dubious, and it appeared that they were selling general purpose tubing, not specifically made safe or chomp proof for pets. It was easier to put around the cords than I thought it would be. We've had this stuff for several months now, and it stopped our two teething cats, and two teething Labradors from damaging chords.

I am disabled & on supplemental oxygen 24/7. I adopted a cat from my local shelter & I love him, but he likes to chew my oxygen line, haha! So, these Pet Cords Protectors are 100% necxessesary, & totally effective; he's no longer interested in chewing my line/

I bought these protectors because even at 2 years old, my cats chew on every cord in my apartment. I always knew it was bad for the chords, but I recently saw an account on IG about a cat that was electrocuted in this manner and lost part of his face - @zappzappleton. I tried spraying bitter apple on all the cords as they were growing up, and it wore off too quickly, or they just didn’t care after a while. But I would forget and touch the cords and then touch my mouth - eww! This is the next thing to try. I measured the cords, cut the tubing and then pushed the cords inside. It’s not too easy, but hopefully that just means that they won’t come off on their own. It may not keep my cats from trying to chew on the cords, but it will certainly protect them from getting electrocuted. UPDATE 6-6-23: They've been working for us. My cats don’t even try to bite the electrical cords protected by these covers, even though one cat still chews at my shoelaces.

Have purchased this item several times before. I've purchased it because it's sturdy, durable and it works wonderfully on all TV cords, cable cords, fan and alarm clock cords. These are placed over all cords in my house as my cat loves to chew wires and cords. it is the perfect remedy!

This cord protector is a good thickness that my cats teeth cannot penetrate to get the wires inside. Very easy to get the wires inside the tube. The protector is a little still, most likely due to the thickness but it relaxes after a little bit. I recommend this cord protector to anyone who has cats and electronic devices.

My little parakeets discovered the cables ;). This cover is perfect, easy to install on said cable in danger. Birdies are no longer successful in destroying my HDMI cables! Victory! Perfect for my needs. Do not hesitate to purchase.

Kittens chew. A lot. Cats chew, maybe not as much as kittens, but they chew nonetheless. When we adopted kittens in 2023, we purchased these to cover the cords in our couch, recliner, and loveseat. We also wrapped some other cords that were out in the open. Fast forward to December of 2024 and we now have two more kittens and they chew everything in sight! So we've purchased even more of this to wrap every bit of cord that can be chewed through. This stuff is not cheap, but it's absolutely worth it if you value your pet's life. My cats will bite on this, but cannot penetrate it to the cord so it's the perfect protector! A friend who runs a rescue recently lost a cat who was electruted after biting into a cord in her couch, so this is a product that meets a serious need. I'd recommend it to any pet owners out there.

This is super easy to use, and easily cut to size for whatever you need. I purchased this to help protect my dad's oxygen hose from one of the cats who would try to bite it. It works perfectly and keeps the hose safe when we can't always see if the cat is messing with it.
