Version 103C or 103D is a very clean and stable riser but can be improved to match 009S quality with a simple design change. I have been running version 009S and version 103D for a few days and I can see the GPUs are running better and more stable versus my old version 006c from 2018 when I started mining. The quality of these risers is amazing and I do like them very much!Pros:1. The riser width is narrow and saves space when arranging GPUs in a rig2. Green light indicator reporting slot connection3. Clean and strong soldering points4. All power connector pins are straight and solid5. USB port is tight and holds the cable nicely6. GPU retainer clip is firm and will not back out on its own7. Multiple power option (I only use the 6 pin connector)Cons:I'm not sure this is a con, but maybe a much-needed enhancement to the design. the PCI-E adapter PCB thickness is 1.55 mm (see image 3) which is standard across the multiple risers from different manufacturers, GPUs, network cards, and other devices that I can find and measure which is normal. Compare that to Ver 009S PCI-E adapter PCB thickness and you can clearly see it is 1.75 mm (see image 4) giving it a tighter fit in the motherboard PCI-E slot and less chance of wiggling and breaking contact with the pins. Normally the motherboard will be encased in a case and the PCI-E devices will have two points of contact to secure it and prevent it from wiggling. The first point of contact is the PCI-E slot pins friction fit and the second is the case PCI-E slots bracket secured to the case with a screw or a retainer. On the other hand, in an open rig platform, we only have the pins friction fit to hold and retain the PCI-E adapter, and that's why version 009S is a great fit because it is thicker than normal PCI-E PCB boards and does not wiggle in the motherboard slot.The solution:The solution here is simple; the manufacturer can use a thicker PCB board to manufacture the PCI-E adapter to account for this issue and produce the same thickness as version 009S which is 1.75 mm. Another solution is to use a 3D printed PCI-E riser adapter clip like the ones shown in image 5 to stop the adapters from moving in the motherboard slot. I'm positive that most miners will agree that having a thicker PCI-E adapter will be a very nice enhancement to any riser adapter because it prevents the adapter movement and creates a solid connection.Disclaimer: I tested version 103C riser based on the seller's request who is trying to improve the product based on real mining operation testing. I received this product for free to test and review after purchasing another version from Ubit in the past with my own money and contacting the seller for a failed riser claim which he responded quickly and replaced it for me. My experience with Ubit has been positive in ordering, using the product, and replacing failed risers.

They work as expected, only gripe is that all the usb cables are the same length, which doesn't help me on the outer reaches of my mining rig, or make the cable management close to the mobo easy. You would think it would make sense to have 2x short cables, 2x medium cables, 2x long cables for mining cases.

So far they are great havnt had issues , went thru the comments first , a lot of things mentioned in the comments are not apparent woth what I received, good working order , has what people say it should have and didn't , has met my expectations so far , the only issue I have is there wasn't like directions or a breakdown of why there are 2 pcie 6 pin connectors on the riser whether they are both power inputs or an input and an output is unclear but one is labeled on the pcb in ...will revisit if I have issues but so far worth it
