Overall, I would rate KOS's Super Greens Powder an 8.8/10. Its packaging was simple enough, and I honestly think it’s really cute and compact considering that it still holds a month of quantity inside of it. It does come with a small scooper, the first time getting out was a little messy, but otherwise, I appreciated that it came with it. In terms of flavor, I personally couldn't drink more than 3/4 cup. It wasn’t too bad by itself, but I will say, it tastes as you would imagine. It’s not fruity or sweet, and it has a bit of a “foggy texture” if that makes sense. It both has the look, as well as almost a faded taste, or, maybe if you could imagine there being a coating? It’s definitely not something I can continue to drink stand-alone. For the sake of reviewing the product, I didn't mix it with anything, I wanted to give my opinion on its natural state. However, in the future, I’ll probably mix it in with smoothies or refresher drinks to help cover the “greens bitterness” and that “cloudiness” that I was referring to. Also, I personally prefer my drinks chilled, so in this case, the product isn't the best for those like me either considering you have to continue to mix it properly, and if you wait for it to cool down, it will separate. I haven't attempted to put it in the fridge despite this and try to re-mix it, but I've checked other online reviews and their own instructions, and basically, it may not work anyway. I'm still going to try to see if it's a method that could work for me to not waste anything, but we shall see. Lastly, in terms of odor, I actually thought it smelled like the apple sorbet flavor, but it lost the taste in the drink transition, unfortunately. I’m hoping by mixing it with other things some of that apple-fruity-ness will come back. I definitely think it's a great alternative if you're looking for a greens-filled alternative, but as I said earlier, I would do so cautiously if you’re not the type to be able to force-drink if it doesn’t meet your taste expectations, or of course, if you think you’ll be able to add it to things you already drink or plan on making. In terms of price, I think it would've been better off around the $25 mark instead of the $33-$35 mark, or maybe to have it cheaper if you buy it in bulk quantities or on the subscription plan, but otherwise, I don't think the pricing was too bad if it works well for you and you enjoy the mixture. I hope this helps:)

This is the first greens drink that I look forward to drinking again. I really enjoy mixing this with water in the morning, it's super easy and convenient. My family likes to mix it in with orange juice, but I think it's sweet enough on its own. It dissolves moderately well after shaking it in a bottle of water, but if there is some grittiness at the bottom where the powder has settled, I just add more water for a second helping and its good to go. I definitely see a difference in my digestion, and I feel great knowing I'm able to get tons more nutrients in my day than I would with the foods I normally prepare. My initial impression was the smell was quite weird, but it tasted so much better than it smells. It's an awesome add-on for smoothies or acai berry bowls, and I would definitely purchase again! I also bought the Red Blend Berry flavor, which I would give 5 stars as well. I like how it dissolved easily in cold water. As for the flavor, it is not as sweet as it looks. It reminds me of a liquid version of a flintstone vitamin from childhood. It is very lightly sweet, so it would be a great add-on for mixing it into a smoothie blend or juice. The only thing I would be aware of is when drinking it only with water, there is a very faint bitter aftertaste/smell almost like celery/kale. Overall, I think it is great for a supplement and I can see myself drinking this whenever I am in a need for a boost of antioxidants, and would purchase this again as well! Each product also has such cute and creative packaging with the little drawings, I love it.

Overall, the product is fine. It serves its purpose to provide additional greens in your diet and is generally palatable. In my opinion, it does not taste super great as the flavor is very artificial. I would actually prefer it to taste more green like cucumber or kale. It also made my stomach hurt quite a bit when I drank it in the morning on an empty stomach, but was fine during the day. As other reviews have pointed out, it tastes a bit grainy when mixed just with water, but is great in a smoothie!

I was actually very excited to try this powder after enjoying Bloom. Let's just say, I would appreciate a refund. After opening, based on the smell, I immediately began wondering how it could taste even close to green apple. Took my first sip and was pleasantly surprised that it actually tasted like green apple. I was just glad that it didn't taste like it smelled. Unfortunately, as I continued to drink it, the taste became more and more unbearable. Once I noticed that the taste and the texture of the drink began to bother me, I immediately felt sick to my stomach and felt the urge to puke. Luckily, I had some tums and water right next to me (thanks to my daughter for giving me acid reflux). Popped my tum and drank my water and instantly felt better. Then I noticed that I no longer had to vomit but I had an urge to go to the bathroom 😳. All of this was in a matter of 3-4 minutes, lol. Hopped on Amazon to look at the 1 star reviews because of course, I only paid attention to the sale price and the 5 star reviews upon purchase. Let's just say I'm glad I'm not alone, lol. Shout out to those who got their money's worth but it's a no for me.

I'm trying to get into a healthier routine - and while I eat pretty well, I feel like I could also up my greens intake. I saw this while searching and liked that it is organic, an immunity booster, and with only 1 gram of sugar per serving - so I tried it. It's DELICIOUS!! So number one - it tastes good. I mean REALLY GOOD. Number two - it mixes easily into a glass of water using a spoon. It's not chunky or grainy either. Number three - you don't get a half empty container. I understand that powder settles, but I didn't get a giant jar that seemed half full - which I find frustrating. The package was nice and full. Here's where I went rogue - I mixed it into my protein oatmeal and that was delicious too. My oatmeal is already kind of green because I added a dash of tumeric and blueberries to the egg/oatmeal/almond milk that I had already cooked. I'm adding this to my subscribe & save order - it's THAT good.
