As a beginner with one hour of experience, I have to say these paddles feel so nice, so comfortable and so light I’m impressed. They feel really good quality, not scared to hit the ball with power and to receive the ball when hit hard. It’s helped me in improving my game because of how light they are and the control they give you. Also, you don’t feel like you’ll break them when you hit hard the ball. Appreciate them coming in two colors. That way I grow into my lone paddle and the other one I use it for any guests.

Upgraded my paddle from target wood paddles to this, which was a really good upgrade for the time being, it was consistent with every time I used it. Good power not too heavy not too light, and it was a good step up from cheap paddles. However I yearned for more, and so I later upgraded to a more expensive paddle. I use this whenever the other paddles I bought doesn’t feel right, or whenever someone wants to play casually with the fam! 100% would recommend to people who wants to get into pickling without investing too heavily in the sport. Also the bag is a plus! I can fit 4 paddles in it. But sometimes it won’t close cuz I overfilled it lol!

I spent more money on my first Selkirk paddle. I found this great deal and now use the Selkirk from.this set. It is heavier than my original lightweight one and I now have more power behind my serves, returns, etc. I am a relatively new player, not much of an expert in pickleball paddles, but the 2 paddles, ball and bag cost me half of my first paddle and I am playing better since I started using then. don't think you can beat the quality for the price. (I paid $49.99).

This is a perfect starter kit, in my opinion. I've played for about a year now and these paddles are fine with a nice handle and have a subtle gritty surface for adding a bit of spin. I 've played with several higher- range paddles and cannot tell the difference. And Selkirk is a "name" brand, which adds credibility. The balls seem okay but not as bright yellow as other brands and each brand has a different bounce.

Great quality for beginners.

We are new to pickleball so we opted for a middle of the road starter kit. This set comes with 2 rackets, 3 balls and a carry bag. We've only played twice so far and the paddles are good quality and a pleasant design. This will be a good travel set as it's all contained for on the go.

Comfortable grip and light weight. Loved it!
