What type of Adhesive is required?

We did not use any adhesive. We wanted it to be removable for cleaning purposes.

Is it possible to get a fin that measures 2in. I have a large gap.

I don’t know about 2 inches. More like 1/2 and inch to an inch.

What adhesive should I use to install this?

It is an item that has a slide over edge or press in place application , you can use an adhesive on it but it already has it on it , so no adhesive application is needed

Many reviews say that not enough glue is included. What other glue should I get to supplement this strip to keep it on?

I didn’t get any glue at all. Flimsy piece of product. Ended up throwing it away because I had already cut it. Would not recommend.
