Excellent for my latest project.....Vikings.I make Authentic Historic Costumes for enthusiastic re-enacters. This beautiful unbleached Calico is just the thing for the many Viking tunics, shifts, wide pants & apron dresses needed to dress a whole army of warriors or a traditional village full of men, women & children. Linen made from Flax would have been the staple for these original Nordic people, but this is now a luxury fabric, so Calico is a good substitute....it can be dyed with traditional organic plant based dyes, just as the flax would have been in those times. This Calico is of excellent quality, a good weight and an even weave. I have already bought quite lot to make the costumes I describe and will definately be buying more.

Nice, sturdy fabric that’s easy to cut, sew, and shape for different projects. It’s got a good thickness - not too stiff, not too thin - so it holds up well without being difficult to handle.Great size, and the unbleached natural look works great for a variety of uses (I’ve used it for tote bags, lining, and even testing patterns). Quality feels consistent throughout - definitely a reliable, functional fabric to keep around for craft projects.

Utterly wonderful calico. I ordered this to cover two sofas which obtained cat pulls far too easily. This calico covers two very large sofas (I will staple it on) and does not allow pulls from three sets of claws (3 cats). Drapes beautifully, and is the perfect weight and colour for upholstering. I know this is a craft fabric but I see no reason at all why this cannot be a perfect upholstery fabric too since the weave is tight and the look smooth and immaculate.And it's dust free and the cat fur is easily removed. A better finish than arrived on my expensive sofas!Sorry for my poor image quality; the camera on my phone is not the best!

Very nice calico but not 66 inches. More like 63. This made the project I specifically bought it for more difficult.Also, it was a little short on length. I bought 10m but ended up with just over 9m.
