This is a replacement for a pair of these headphones I bought more than 10-years ago. And I wouldn't have looked for another pair had I not accidentally stepped on the cord while standing up, causing one of sides to be pulled apart from the rest of the unit. Despite being in two pieces, the headphones still work and sound as they did when I first got them. (the side that got removed still slides back in place so I can still wear them although the height adjustment no longer works) Moreover, it's not the first time I have accidentally yanked them off my head, and despite all that, there is no 'crackling' of the audio, which is what you would have expected with headphones when something like that continually happens. As for the entire unit, it is very comfortable. You can adjust the length of each 'speaker'. It has a nice, deep sound. There is a volume controller, although it can be tricky making adjustments. I always wondered why these headphones come with a limited lifetime warranty. Companies usually base the length of their warranties on how long they expect a product to last before running into potential problems. Now I know why Koss is so confident with their KTXPro1.

I use these a lot for listening to music on my PC. I really like them because they don't cut me off from the rest of the world. While I'm enjoying my music, I can still hear everything else going on around me... a car pulling into the driveway, the dog getting into trouble, etc. They sound incredible and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. I've been enjoying these for years and wouldn't buy anything else.
