Not only is this book absolutely gorgeous to display, but the contents are equally as lovely to look at. The colours and composition of the photographs are stunning.

As a librarian I come across thousands of books, and sometimes you come across a book that just leaves you speechless and exceeds all expectations. This is that book. It's a work of art. Each Paris shop has a brief summary followed by breathtaking photographs and incredibly beautiful watercolor illustrations that perfectly capture the feeling of wondering these shops. I want to live inside the pages of this book!

Beautiful photos of old shops. A reminder of how beautiful long lasting objectswere important back then as opposed to today's consumerist society.
