I had a Kolpin can with the worst pour nozzle. When you need the fuel, how easy is it to get it out?

I have the same problem. I have had this 1-gallon container for 3 years, filled with gas and stored in my truck bed. This is the 1st time I actually use it, try to pour the gas out, and I could not. No gas come out of the nozzle no matter how I turn the lock/unlock ring. Think about it when you are on the road running out of gas, then find the stored gas you carried for years just for in case like this would not come to recuse you... Fortunately I am in my garage just trying to change the old gas with refresh one and I am still researching on how to make the simple thing work - get the gas out of the nozzle.

Can these containers be stored horizontally on a roof rack? I have an '01 4Runner and need a reliable way to store extra fuel and water.

Water, of course. Secured properly, no problem. Fuel, I don't know. Mine doesn't leak when secured on my atv but I wouldn't store it on a roof rack. I hope that helps.

i have 2016 can am outlander 650 atv--i want 2-4 gallon containers as two quads will be in use--what else would i need to secure on back of quad?

I'm assuming you want one 4 gallon on each quad? You would need two 4 gallon containers, four pack mounts of your choice (I recommend DLX), two universal mounting plates.
