we have used this to cover highly polished furniture with a mirror top section. i would think that a watch is too fiddly for this film. but if you do decide to use it, it 'shrinks' once you peel the backing off, so you might like to try a scrap piece to see the difference in size. i think you would also need to cut first and not after you have attahced.
