Do you have to drill holds in the wall to hang it?

The LED strip has an adhesive backing so it just sticks like a sticker but the adapter and power chords may have to be organized. I screwed a chord-clip to hold these up on the wall where they can't be seen.

How thick is the board itself?

About an inch & 1/3 thick; it's not too skinny but not too thick either if you can imagine that. Width of thumb just about? I'm running out of ways to get an image out.

Is it only glossy cover for white one?

Don’t understand but it’s mildly glossy. Very nice.

How high should I mount it?

It comes with mounting screws...
