These are AWESOME
I was skeptical about these at first since I had seen so many bad reviews about vacuum seal bags in general. I went with these ones because they seemed to have the best reviews and be the most durable, and I think there is also a lifetime warranty. So far, I am really loving these storage bags. I don't have a lot of space in my home, but after using these bags I opened up a few large shelves. When they say that these bags save you a ton of space, they really do--for the most part. If you use them on things like pillows or comforters, they make a HUGE difference. I put a couple large pillows in one of the large bags, and they are now maybe about half an inch thick. However, with materials that are already pretty dense, the difference is less dramatic. It still does save space. Just much less, since there is not much air to take out of it.I found that when I used a vacuum, it did not get all of the air out. The thing that did actually seem to get all of the air out was the travel pump, impressively. I found that since the hand pump took a while for larger bags, the best way to do it was to use a vacuum to get the majority of air out and then use the travel pump to get the last remnants out.As far as bags reinflating, I have not had too much trouble. The first bag I used somehow got a small tear, I'm not sure how. I put some packaging tape on it though and it did seal after that. Otherwise, they stay sealed as long as you follow the instructions. I filled one bag past the point where it said to stop, and that bag did refill with air shortly after. After 3 weeks, so far so good.I used the small bags a couple weeks ago on my carry-on when I traveled out-of-state.I was pretty happy with the amount of space that I saved. I fit about 6 shirts, two dresses dress, two pairs of shorts, a couple pairs of jeans, socks and undergarments for 7 days into two small sized bags. Since the bags get pretty hard once sealed, I did my best to fit my other things into the edges of the suitcase. On the way back I didn't want to use my snow boots through the airport and managed to pack those in as well (it would not have fit the exact measurement for carry-ons with the boots included, but the airport didn't seem to care). On the way back, I used the travel pump and it did not take me long to get the clothes sealed again. One thing to take not of though is that when I unpacked, all of my clothes were wrinkled. I tried to dewrinkle them by hanging them next to the shower, but if you have enough space packing a steamer would probably be helpful.Overall, they work pretty great and I am very glad that I invested in them.

Lifetime Warranty
Many previous reviews have noted issues with the lifetime warranty but we experienced absolutely wonderful customer service. We purchased this item months ago and while most of the bags are in working order, two of them started to leak. I simply used the prompts through Amazon that are clearly indicated when accessing ones previous orders. A SpaceSaver representative then very promptly sent an e-mail in response to the message sent through the Amazon messaging system. Within a couple days, we received a package that contained five new bags. We were having trouble with a small and a jumbo bag, so I presume this is the smallest package they sell that contains both of those sizes. It was all seamless. No strange inquisition about why the bags may have stopped working, etc. Just a professional, prompt message and a more than acceptable remedy to honor the warranty. Purchase with confidence.

Works great!... Mostly
When you go camping you often bring more blankets than you think you'll need in case of rain, spilled drinks, wet dogs, or it's colder than you thought. I like to be very prepared in case of those unforeseen circumstances, so we always pack plenty into the car which means space is precious. With these, I can fit more of the stuff my anxiety says I need. This type of item has been used in my house for a while and it's worked very well, but the last box I got, there were about 3-4 bags that had small leaks right out of the box. One I could easily patch with some duct tape(I use clear for visibility), but the rest, I couldn't seem to find the source. I checked that I had the zipper seal closed fully and so on. Everything I could think of other than spraying it with soapy water to find the bubbles.Every other box I've gotten(I say as though I've gotten a bunch) has been fine. The only thing I can think of that might've caused it is having left the unused ones in the box for so long.

Amazing product and fun to use
I've seen this on TV and thought "how crazy" but let me tell you IT WORKS. It can take a stack of comforters and knock it down to less than 20% the height without sucking the air out of it. The only complaint is that you have to 'help' it if you want it to be as flat as possible because once the air is removed then it's difficult to flex and impossible to flatten. Still it's a great space saver. I used these during my move. Important Note: Size does get smaller BUT weight stays the same (sometimes a bit heavier with the larger bags).

THESE INFLATED UP AFTER A SHORT TIME!
THESE INFLATED AFTER A SHORT TIME! NOT ALL THE WAY BUT 25-30% AIR WENT BACK IN AFTER 30 MINUTES OR SO. AND THE ONES THAT I DID 7WEEKS AGO LOOK LIKE REGULAR STORAGE BAGS COS AT LEAST 45-50% FULLER THAN WHEN I VACUUMED AND STORED.WHEN I FIRST GOT THEM IN OCT, 2020, I THOUGHT THESE WERE MIRACLE BAGS! THEN IN DECEMBER 2020, ACCIDENTALLY I WENT IN TO MY STORAGE N SAW THESE BAGS BLOONED UP! I PUT THE VACUUM AGAIN AND SUCK THE AIR OUT. THEN 30 MITS LATER, I SAW THEM BLOONED UP AGAIN! I DID AGAIN! THEN A LITTLE WHILE LATER THEY BLOONED UP AGAIN!!! AFTER SEVERAL ATTEPTS, I GAVE UP! NOT JUST ONE, ALL! THUS IT IS NOT A RANDOM DEFECTIVED BAGS!I CONTACTED THEM AND THEY WERE VERY APOLOGETIC AND REFUND THE MONEY.
