Hoosier Hill Farm White Cheddar Cheese Powder, 2LB (Pack of 1)

This stuff tastes really good on popcorn! You can add as much as you want as well really quickly which I really like, compared to the smaller packages at the store. There's also a lot less ingredients in this powder than the others you buy at the grocery store as well :) The one we got also doesn't expire for another 2 years. It tastes fine on mac and cheese as well, in my opinion definitely comparable to the box mac but slightly better, I like that it comes with instructions on the packaging as well! Overall very good, perfect if you want to make cheesy popcorn at home!

I bought this hoping I could use it to make white cheddar popcorn and it was the exact flavor. I popped the corn, poured melted butter on it, shook the container, and then added the cheddar, shaking the container again. Perfection!

We bought this to be able to replace purchases of boxed mac & cheese. Works just fine. Recipe I use: 1.5 cups dry elbow macaroni (Boil, drain, return to empty pot as a convenient mixing bowl) 3 Tablespoons white cheese powder 3 Tablespoons milk (Mix the milk and cheese powder together in a little bowl.) 2 Tablespoons butter (Dump the butter in with the drained noodles and swish it around until it dissolves.) (Stir the milk-and-cheese-powder in.) Tastes like Annie's white cheddar mac & cheese. Price breakdown vs. boxed mac & cheese: Those 3 Tablespoons of cheese powder weigh 23 grams, so a 2 lb tub of the powder can make the equivalent of cheese powder packets in 39 boxes of mac & cheese. The current price (Sept. 2026) is $25 for a 2 pound tub, so it's 64¢ for (the cheese part of) each batch. Then you just buy boxed elbow macaroni, which is about $1.30/pound. That makes the noodle portion 61¢. So you're looking at about $1.25/batch of pasta of the same (7.25 oz) box size you would buy off the shelf in the grocery store). Works for our house.

It is good and tastes like cheddar cheese. However I think it is salty, I would not add any salt to any recipe you use this in. I made homemade macaroni and cheese with it. 3 cups dried pasta prepared per package. 1c milk, 3TBSP butter warmed so butter melts. Add 9 TBSP powder and whisk together. Mix 1TBSP Corn Starch with 1TBSP milk and add to mix. Once thickened add to drained pasta and serve.

It tastes better than the yellow cheddar one in my opinion. This one tastes tangy kind of like ranch but with a hint of vinegar and saltier, good thing I love vinegar lol so yummy 😩 this is gonna make eating keto much easier although it does taste good even with rice lol now that I know this exists I’m never using Parmesan cheese ever again which is bland compared to this

I use to occasionally make my own Mac and cheese to avoid all the additives and preservatives in box brands. Great taste, better than box....Google recipes that suit your tastes. I make a large mason jar up which lasts a long time.

The best cheddar cheese I have ever used for popcorn

Had been wanting to try this White Cheddar from Hoosier Hill Farm. I like white cheddar cheese better than colored. This product has a good flavor but way too salty at least for my taste. I made Mac & cheese using this product & and to throw it all out due to the salt. The colored isn't as salty. I will say that most of Hoosier Hill Farms products are good.

My family was already a big fan of the yellow cheddar cheese by Hoosier Hill Farm (our kids woun't eat pasta without it!), this white cheddar is a nice compliment to the yellow cheddar since it's a softer & more subtle taste, a nice change and option to have when seasoning popcorn, salads, pasta ... Looooove it!

Very good quality cheddar cheese powder. 👌 I used it to make 11 liters of Broccoli Cheese soup, my favourite. I did find it pricey, but I needed it, and I still have enough for probably another 2 to 3 batches.

tastes excellent. makes a very nice sauce for pasta.

It's an okay product but the cost is ridiculous for what you actually get I'll be looking elsewhere
