All the pros are in the headline. For me they more then outweigh the two cons. Don't overthink the electrical specs, this power supply works fine for the S9. For those who care to know, the Voltage specs must match and they do. The Amperage and Wattage ratings of a replacement must meet or exceed the connected load and in this case they exceed by a bit more then the original.Con1: Both cord segments are shorter then the original. However, the detachable AC cord from the original is compatible with this replacement. So if the original detachable cord is still good use instead to gain back a couple of feet.Con2: The 3-pin adapter plug on the device end of the DC cord is straight rather then right-angled thereby requiring a bit of extra clearance in the back or the unit where it plugs in.

My old power supply malfunctioned during a trip to Europe, so I needed a new one quickly when I returned home. My regular CPAP supplier wanted $99 for a replacement power supply. My son suggested a try to find one on Amazon - and I was surprised to see them available. This one that I purchased fit my machine perfectly and powered it right up. I have been using it for several weeks now with no problem. I would very much recommend it. Also, it is lighter than the original power supply.

My hubby’s old cpap kept cutting out or was hard to start. Seemed like it may have had a short someplace. Took a chance and replaced the power cord with this one hoping that would solve the problem rather than spending a grand or more on a new machine. Worked like a champ!! Highly recommend.

My original power cord was coming apart and when I left it at a hotel it was time to get a replacement. I selected this AC/DC adapter, bought it and received it the next day. It is a third of the cost, half the size and works just as good. Great value.

FYI it comes with the cord that plugs into the wall. We didn't know that as it isn't pictured and ordered a separate cord. It is a great replacement and much more affordable than what the medical supply and doctors office was going to charge.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this, but it has worked great. I travel a lot, and this is much more compact than the regular power supply. Two things to note:* The connection on the CPAP side is straight, not at a 90 degree angle like the OEM power supply. This hasn't been a problem for me, it might for you depending on where your CPAP is setup as this can require more space in beind the unit for the cord.* The cord is short. I'm looking for compact so this is OK for me. If it isn't OK for you, get an extension cord, and it'll still be a lot cheaper than OEM.
