Shouldn't it be K-11 for the small pictures? Does it actually have the words "1st grade" and such for each picture slot?

It do actually have the words 1st grade to 12 grade for small pictures, don't have a place for kindergarten, would be nice if it was was k-11, I put the kindergarten picture in the centre

what is the size of the middle hole, is it 5"x7"?

small holes height = 1 11/16", width =1 3/16", I only had the wallet size of some of my child's class pictures, and while it worked - could squeeze the head shot in, the exchange size works much better. The larger hole is 4 1/16" x 3" - we did fit a 3 x 5 picture in.

Can this be hung on a wall?

I have no idea. I bought two as gifts and gave them away. Sorry I don't have the correct answer for your question.
