Great generator, would recommend
Honda tends to be the gold standard for small generators. Light weight, enough power to run my travel trailer AC and very very quiet. Though it may be a little more expensive than some, the features, size, weight, and quietness are worth the price. One other thing is the height is low enough to easily carry in my truck with a bed cap. I have since converted this to a tri-fuel setup and it runs great on propane. Would recommend and would buy again. The Companion is the right configuration to buy as a first generator for a travel trailer. Easy to get a locking adapter to a 30A trailer connection. If you later get a second generator, this one already has the proper connector for a TT.

12 days with no power
We have had ours for a year and a half, and this is the first time we’ve really had to use it. We spent 12 days no power and the generator saved us. We were able to hook up our Wi-Fi 2 refrigerators TV and one light. We also had an electric heater hooked up to it. It handled everything well. We got about six hours of use out of one tank of gas.

Compact Dependable Generator
We use this with our Dodge Ram Camper Van when we are off road camping. We have solar, but this has come in handy many times. We chain it to our back axle to prevent anyone from stealing it when we are camped. It's compact and easily stores in the compact space in the back of our van while we are traveling. It always starts immediately and is very dependable. This is the second season we've used it for camping.
