This was my second heat deflector in 4 years... I only do low temp smokes (less than 300 degrees). I went with a Louisiana Grill brand since that is the brand of my smoker, but this deflector only lasted for 4 uses. The website only has a phone number for contacting and you go straight to a waiting line with no end...

Perhaps it is planned obsolescence, but I bought this in June of 2024 and it broke in half by December without a whole lot of use. This said it is what is available for this unit so I have purchased another one hoping I get more than a year out of it. I love my K24 Louisiana grill... So I'm just going to have to forgive that their heat deflector isn't particularly good that they sell here. Or at least this last one wasn't very resilient. The original one lasted several years. Hummmm

I have a Louisiana grill Komodo smoker that I love, however I dropped the diffuser and it broke. This replacement is exactly what I needed to get smoking with indirect heat once again.

Fits perfect! Make sure you realize this is for a pit boss or Louisiana grill. This is the unit sold at Costco. Great deal.

It broke in halves after 1 grilling season

Brisket is better with a proper diffuser.
