Best tint ... hands down!
Very easy to install for a 1st timer. I messed up a few spots but it was me being new and not the film. I have used the wet applications before and had to trash them. This is very forgiving and using the heat you can really stretch this cleanly over any shape or curve. I was able to do both headlights, both fogs, and my mirror turn signals with one roll. Just ordered another roll for the taillights. The videos make it look easy but I found the trimming difficult but again I am inexperienced. Lights still shine good at night for oncoming traffic to see you but these are DARK and you will loose a lot of your light output you are used to so it will take some getting used to. I love this product and gave 5 stars. Excellent product, good price, forgiving film for a beginner. Watch some videos and you can do this! For a tip, use extra film like the videos say so you don't put fingerprints in the film as this is not a wet apply film. Adding more pictures of the tailights and mirrors plus light output. Really hoping VViViD will send me a decal for my car or a banner for my garage, or both for my reviews lol 🙏

Very Easy to Use
Unlike traditional tinting material, this vinyl air tint doesn't require and skill to use. It adheres to the surface of the glass/plastic dry, and when you did not like how it may be laying on the surface, just peel it back up and redo it. This tint is also pretty thick as it is vinyl not a traditional film. This makes it very easy to pull and shape around hard edges, bulbous shapes, and varying contours with just a little heat from a hair drier or heat gun. It took me all of about 10-15 minutes to tint the fog lights on my Mustang, with the lights removed from the grill, and it was my first go at using this tint. I am very happy with it - and if the day comes that I am not, I can just peel it right off of the lights and they will be right back to normal again.Update: Decided to tint the headlights as well. The dark black looks fantastic against the red paint, but it definitely cuts down on the headlight output dramatically - even with ultra-bright LEDs. I don't drive this car often, and really only during the day, so I wasn't overly concerned with that. If you want to see clearly at night, use the smoke tint for your headlights.

Appears to be great quality and easy to work with
UPDATE: April 20225 years later and this vinyl is still going strong. Very durable, and still looks great. No issues with peeling or cracking. This tint has survived 4 Phoenix summers in the direct sunlight. It has barely started fading, which is why I'm replacing them with some fresh tint. But hey, what can you expect when your vehicle sits in the driveway under the direct sunlight and it averages 115 - 118 degrees! Amazing product!Original Review: 2017These are dark but not a complete black out when in sunlight, which is nice when driving around cops. I installed this on my Genesis Coupe tail lights. If you have LED tail lights, the brake lights shine through with no issues, day or night. Can't speak for regular bulbs, but I suspect there will be no issues with the light output.Very easy to install, even with extreme curves. Just apply some heat to the vinyl where it will make contact to the curve and stretch it enough to hug it. Try to "glass it out" when stretching, but don't over stretch. Remember to always apply to the flattest part first and squeegee from the center out. Don't forget to let the vinyl rest once you come to the edge of your light. This will prevent the vinyl from stretch back and peeling. If you have little to no experience with vinyl, take your time with it and look up tutorial videos before attempting. This particular vinyl has a textured pattern on the sticky side from the nonstick paper it sits on. After you install, this pattern should smooth out and disappear after a few weeks of baking in the sun. If you get any bubbles, take a pin and pop a hole in it.All in all, the quality seems great and easy to work with.

Good product
This product worked very well and looked really good. Only issue I had was the edges didn’t stick very good and I Tried heat and pressure and that didn’t do anything

Easy Install and Great quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. This film is very workable, can take a good amount of heat due to the thickness of the film, and the video you will see how easy it is for me to install it. 10 /10 would recommend.

Looks nice but cheap cheap cheap
My car looks very nice blacked out, has that whole Batman AMG look!!! But this tint…..MY GOD I WANTED TO DROP DEAD!!! Does not stretch or even maintain heat long enough to where it expands and sticks. Was so so so careful (keep in mind means my brother do this all the time) and still tore apart and had marks that wouldn’t go away. Wanted a cheap alternative and DIY, but at this point that $400 price quote seems very nice considering this tint took 4 days to properly install and still has very very very big noticeable defects. Please save your money and go on a trusted brand and spend the $50-$70, trust me it will cost a bit more but take less time and effort and look like a $400 job! Got choose delete tint from this company and same results, seems like they use cheap materials and thickness is unnecessary as tint should be thin and expandable

Dark as hell! Takes some patience and practice.
I only needed to replace one headlight so I tried to guess which shade I had. I got it wrong. "Dark" is too dark. Totally murdered out. So I redid the one I already had tinted so they can match but I'm now going to replace with the light smoke. Vivid needs to get their naming conventions simplified! When driving, it feels like your lights are not even on. I don't recommend this dark.

Easiest, best looking way to tint your lights.
This stuff is amazing. I've used everything else you can name for taillight tinting, and before this, VHT was by far my choice option. VHT's downfall is its irreversible. I tried another vinyl years ago and it was junk, didn't bother trying the 2nd light. The plastidip is removable, but it looks terrible to me, and not just my job, I can pick them out on other cars, it looks terrible. The vvivid film looks as good as the VHT spray, but it's far easier to install, and it's removable. I'm doing the tails on my 1986 and 1987 porsche 944's, and I really didn't want to make it permanent on something so special. This was the ultimate answer. And it forms so perfectly and effortlessly. My tails have red lense, clear lense, and amber lense, and when wrapped, they all look very very similar. I can still tell them apart, but barely. Better than VHT. Careful with the heat, it doesn't take much. If you've ever tinted a window, this is about half the heat (duration, not temp). Good luck, though you won't need it.
