This is my first tens unit and wow do I love it. I got this specifically to avoid cords and going through single use pads. Out of the about 8x ive used it ive only had to wash the gel pad twice. The remote has a screen which I love and the intensity settings are amazing. This is insanely convenient for using at work and holds up to my walking, bending, and stooping. The charge lasted quite a bit and ive only had to recharge once. This is one of my favorite pain relief methods after years of pills and patches.

I find this unit to be very strong. There are 6 modes and you can adjust the intensity from 1-20. I found that 15 was as high as I needed on the modes that I found most beneficial. I had serious low back pain and while I'm sure it was going to naturally alleviate, using this device 3-4 times a day seemed to really help quiet the areas of my back that were having muscle spasms. My advice is to try to place the pads in a way that when the device fires, you are engaging the specific muscles that are being problematic, if you do not place it correctly and are stimulating other muscles, the benefits are limited. My only gripe is that both the TENS unit and controller charge via micro usb, which I was free from, I'm sure if they ever re-design it, they will update to usb-c, but that's not a big enough reason to take a star as I found it to be a very effective device.

The remote doesn’t work at all. It blinks but does nothing to adjust the device. Only one side of the device works and it’s inconsistent. I’ve gone through the troubleshooting and it hasn’t helped. This may end up getting returned or tossed.

I bought this because I had a similar product but I wanted stronger stimulation. This has the stronger stimulation but the large pads are not as large as the ones I was using. If they had larger pads, even if they sold them separately, I would give it a five.

So far the unit works, but what isn’t clear is how do use the unit in EMS vs TENS mode. The item description says EMS and TENS. I tried calling the customer support # and it’s parked so nobody answers any calls. The documentation doesn’t state which mode is for EMS and only refers to TENS. This doesn’t feel like a true EMS device

This item helps when I have my sciatic pain! I love the different sizes and the intensity of the stimulater which can be easily adjusted to fit you pain!I always have it with me when I travel because it can easily be recharged!
