This is definitely is a gasification stove.
This is a perfect gasification stove, and it fits in one of the tokes pots.Extremely lightweightDurableEasy to useAnd the price is not too highI would recommend this stove for anyone who backpacks in an area where you can use a fire

A great wood gas stove. A great part of a cook kit.
This is a great light weight wood gas stove. It burns hot and takes up very little space. This stove along with the toaks siphon alcohol stove creates an amazingly versatile combo. The alcohol stove nests inside the wood stove. The wood stove nests inside my 750 ml pot with bail.I use the wood stove in favorable conditions. If all the wood around is wet I use the top section of the wood stove with the alcohol stove. It is a great stove but it does require attention. If you get distracted for too long you will have to get it going again with a few breaths.

A good compromise.
It sits a bit tall so the thing needs to be pretty full to get the full heat up on the pot, and it is tipper than other wood stoves I have. It stays together well and it is relatively easy to feed. Ventilation is good also. I find it very easy to take apart and stuff away with out getting as completely dirty as the Emberlit makes me, and it stays together better than the Vargo Hexagon. In the case of the Vargo, it not staying together well really makes it something you want to be careful using, Not good. With the Emberlit, the soot on your hands is not a serious problem, as the stove is otherwise amazing, but it is enough to make me less inclined to use it, when I am out walking and just wanting to make some tea. The Toaks is not quite as compact as those stoves, but it still nests well inside the Toaks 750 bail handle pot, with a liiiiitle bit of room to spare to put in something else. I did a Chinese style tea cup, as it is mostly a tea set up for me, but you could do a small supply of fire stuff or some other golf ball sized things and still keep them clean. If you are willing to get your stuff all sooty, there is a bunch more room inside the bag with the stove. I think one small improvement would be a slightly longer bag so that you could stuff it deeper into the stove to make more clean internal space. I think you could use just part of it as a stand for an alcohol stove, but I think that you would have a harder time with fuel tablets or gel. All in all a good stove, and I will have fun with it.

What a perfect design. I couldn't be more happy with this ...
What a perfect design. I couldn't be more happy with this product. I did a lot of research and compared measurements of many products to find a system of camping cookware and water purification that best fit my needs. Since I love titanium for it's strong but lightweight, healthy, and corrosion resistant properties I ended up going with the Health Pro pots, Vargo Bot 700, and this Toaks (small) wood burning stove. This was the perfect addition. This will nest inside the Bot 700 and even though the lid won't screw on, it doesn't interfere with both nesting inside the Health Pro pots. Works as well as the Solostove but much lighter and more compact. By switching to this system I shaved at least a pound and a significant amount of space from my pack. Awesome!

This is NOT a Coleman Stove
Fantastic product. Its small and collapses into itself which makes it even more fantastic. Use it to heat up water and to heat up small amounts of food from individual survival packets or from cans. It isn't a Coleman Stove or other device of equal size and capability. It is NOT designed to cook a meal but rather for individual use while out kicking around in the boonies. All you need is this, your food, your water, and a fire source, and you're all set. I also picked up the 750 ml pot which this small stove accommodates perfectly. In fact, the entire thing collapses into the 750 ml pot (which has a lid on it as well) and fits in a small pouch on your backpack. This is definitely worth the money. Simple design, no additional gear needed (like propane), only a few moving parts. Its perfect for what its designed to do.

Very flexible and lightweight wood stove!
I'm going to do a long term review on this after I've used it for an extended period but felt compelled to give an initial. This is a great little wood gassifier stove!!!! I've had consistent success with this over the last couple weeks. Fill the burn chamber with sticks, place a Vaseline cotton ball or your fire starter of choice on top, light, throw a few more sticks in a wait for it to get going. Then put your water on to boil and 6 minutes later your done and the soot on the pot is minimal. The titanium has very little soot build up as well once its burned out. I'm not saying there is no soot but drastically less than an open fire or non gassifier stove. The best part is the pot stand part can be used separately for an alcohol stove if you want that option. Overall I love this!! Looking forward to using his on a longer hike!

Excellent little grill for my use but....
The product arrived promptly and works as intended, my only issue is that I think I got a used one.... it came with soot already in it and obviously used and somewhat warped. The pieces fit together with a little effort but they work and the stove is totally usable. My 3 stars are not necessarily based on the product itself it’s more on the fact that I payed for a new one and received and obviously used one

Ultralight wood burning stove
I've had many wood burning stoves threw out the years..never have I had such a ultralight stove that could fit into a 750mm pot. I've used this stove exclusively on every backpack'n trip since purchased. Though you MUST be attentive to your fire..I have found that if I chopped 3/4 diameter & length branches into little bit piece & fill stove up too the top of burn chamber I can get 35-45 minutes of flame burn times without having to add fuel. Invest into a pocket bellow..just say'n.
