Our Fresh Bluefin Tuna products are processed and sent fresh (not frozen) and do not require any additional freezing for raw consumption.

How is the tuna delivered exactly to ensure freshness?

Hello Eric, Our fish is harvested 48 hours prior to shipping. Once it arrives in house, we wrap in two layers of Japanese-imported "Tuna Paper", specifically to slow oxidation processes in high quality seafood. It is then wrapped in a plastic bag, which is place in a styrofoam box with enough refrigerant to sustain full freshness for up to 48-72 hours in transit. what parts will delivered exactly?

The Wild-Caught Bluefin Tuna (Akami) is the leanest cut of the fish, coming from the top loin. The portion will come cut and wrapped in special tuna paper imported from Japan (designed to maximize shelf life), inside of a double chambered mylar insulated bag with enough gel ice refrigerant to sustain full freshness for up to 3 days in transit (should no delays or mishandling occur).
