Attractive, but the inside thermometer doesn't work
After looking all over for something like this, I thought that I would try this. It's really attractive and well padded, with sturdy zippers and a ring to clip on a strap . It also comes with 2 freezer packs and a thermometer. Unfortunately the thermometer does NOTHING. I tested it by putting the 2 well frozen packs in, zippered it up, and left it for about 20 minutes. When I opened it up to check the inside temperature, there was nothing happening. So my question is : how do we know what temperature our meds are being held at ?

Great product
Used this to keep insulin cool during a 5 hour flight. It worked well. Kept Everything cool for all travel time including the time it took to get to our destination from door to door. Well worth the purchase.

Good case
This is a great case for an affordable price. If you are going far or using this for over a 4 hour period I would carry a different ice pack, 1 ice pack (the ones it comes with) stays frozen for about 2.5 hours after that it returns to a gel but stays cool an additional hour or 2.

Only holds insulin & not much of that
I don't know who designed this travel case for "insulin pen & diabetic supplies," but it's obvious that that person is not diabetic or if they are, has never had to travel with insulin & supplies.First off, the color is great. Love it. Then I opened the bag. There are mesh pockets on the top flap & bottom of the bag. I figured those would be ideal for my meter, lancing device, test strips, extra lancets & alcohol swabs, etc. They work, although a closable pocket/pouch would be better for the small loose items. The problem is the insulated insert where your insulin pen(s) and the gel freezer inserts go. There is really only a place for 1 pen...I use 2 types of insulin. There is a smaller band that appears to be designed to hold an insulin vial...useless in my case. Spots for 2 pens would be much more preferable. Once you put your meter/supplies in the mesh pouches in the outter part of the bag, forget trying to use the insulated insulin sleeve. The bag is nowhere near deep enough to hold 1 small meter & pkg of test strips, a lancing device, a few lancets & alcohol swabs PLUS the insulated sleeve. Forget even trying to use the gel freezer packs because there is NO way you can zip the bag up. I could barely get it zipped without the ice packs & even then, I really had to girce the zipper to close the bag. Maybe if it were 1/2 - 3/4" deeper it would work, but not as it is designed, which is a shame.I had not purchased this for travel, but rather as an everyday bag to hold my open insulin pens, meter & supplies. The only way I could get everything I needed to put in the bag & get it zipped was to take the insulated sleeve out & just throw everything loose in the bag, which is messy & pretty much defeats the entire purpose of the bag. The bag I was intending to replace is also basically just an open bag, although it has the insulation sewn into the top & bottom of the bag, so there is some temperature control. Plus, it has a zippered pocket & pouch that keep all the loose supplies in place. Basically, for me to be able to use this bag for my daily supplies, it's nothing more than an uninsulated purple bag. I would get the same results throwing all my supplies loose into a Ziplok bag. It's a shame...I really looked forward to this bag. Ì couldn't be more disappointed , will have to send it back & look for another.

Traveling Insulin case.
This little to go case has saved me, when I was in a hurry and couldn’t take my medicine at the right time. It stayed ultra cold for hours at work, and has inclosed pockets for the alcohol preps, and syringe needles. I originally bought it to take on a flight with me, but have used it for other situations. It also has a hook on the side to add a strap. This was most definitely a useful product, and worth every penny.
