Huskies are prone to zinc deficiencies. Mine had sores all over his face and mouth. The vet diagnosed him as a messy drinker. WT?! I crush 2 up, soak in water, and add it to his food. His face cleared up within a week after months of not finding a cure. Start small until you see that your dog tolerates it well. Never give on an empty stomach.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the Zinc. R-Lipoic Acid came instead - I have no idea what that is! Waste of money, and non-returnable or refundable. 2 stars because the zinc is wonderful.

Been taking this for a few months now and far as I can tell it works great! I work around very young children and I haven't caught any of their colds yet.
